Tim, the guy on the Mariner of the Seas, said he is going to finalize the Radisson on Monday. Right now he is figuring 5 rooms for us, I have requested a suite and Shan has rquested a standard. Just let me know if any others are interested. He said he would email me the info on how to make reservations under the group once it is finalized.

Randi, What are the prices and does it include shuttle to the ship? ( I could probably find that info in previous posts but ...) Do they need the money now and what happens if you need to cancel? Is it refundable? Judy

Hi Judy,

The rates he emailed me were $149 for a standard and $179 for a suite. This is for the cruise package which includes shuttle and breakfast. The guy is suppose to email me more details early this week about how to make reservations. I will ask about how the cancellations would work. I will post as soon as I know more.

We finally dropped to the high 80's here in West Covina, California. It's been in the upper 90's to low 100's for about 3 weeks!

It has been pushing a 100 here in Columbia SC and the humidity is terrible.

Hot here also. Mid - low 90's. Son (8 yr old )starts tackle football soon .... will be so hot! He went to watch the TN Titians (training camp in our city) and said new QB WASNT ALL THAT....LOL. Can pass that info on to all your ds or dh that love football.

I was in the pool with the kids last night and it was over 100 degrees after 6:00! It was almost too hot to be outside at all, even by the pool. We're supposed to get a cool front on Wednesday. My lawn and plants could sure use some cooler weather. Even watering everyday isn't helping.

For those interested in the Radisson here are the details:

Price is $149 for a standard and $179 for a suite. This does include the shuttle but not the breakfast. You have until May 24 to cancel if you need to. To reserve call 1-800-333-3333 or 321-784-0000 and make a reservation using the code “MOTLEY07”.

I just reserved a suite for us.

Wow! That is a fantastic rate! How many rooms are available? Can we jump in on that rate?

They started out with 20 rooms and said they would add more if they needed to. If you are interested, I would go ahead and call and make your reservations to secure the rate. We have stayed at the Radisson a couple of times and you can't beat it with the shuttle included.

Randi, when you made your reservation did you book a time for the shuttle? I read somewhere the earlier shuttle times book up. I didn't even think to ask if we could do this so early...

I just called and asked about that and they let me sign up for a 10:00 a.m. So all clear to sign up for the early times now. If you call now and sign up we may be on the same shuttle. You have to call the hotel directly.

We have done the shuttle a few times with the Radisson. They have a shuttle out there waiting and it keeps coming back and forth picking up. They did give us a card to call if we couldn't find the shuttle when we got off.
