May 26 2013 4 night Dream to the Bahamas

Our children ages 15 and 12 are excited to be going on their first Disney Cruise. We have cruised numerous times on RCCL, but this will be the first Disney experience. We would love to participate in the fish exchange and can't wait to meet everyone.

Stacy since I just joined it would not let me message you. Is there any other way that I can get information to you for exchange. Thank you..Pam

Hello,

You can email me the information at Staceywhitenj@aol.com

Welcome! Always exciting to see someone new here! I, for one, am ready for this thread to pick up some steam! May 26 will be here before we know it! We are spending May 25 at the Magic Kingdom. I'm so disappointed with myself because I had planned to make reservations at Be Our Guest. For some reason I thought 180 days was in December. Imagine my shock when I went to make reservations and found out I was a month late. I'm so hoping for a cancellation. I'm also running the Princess half marathon in February so we were planning to have lunch there then and dinner in May. Plans may change if something opens in February instead.

Hello,
We came back 12/13 and could not get a reservation for BOG either. I called the first day they opened up reservations. I was so disappointed. But we were able to do lunch. I think we had to wait about 40 minutes. It was well worth it they did a wonderful job. I would recommend the strawberry mousse cupcake.:goodvibes

Just one change. I don't know why I didn't catch this before. My dad is James, not Jamie. Lol. Thanks for the update! We've already got a good group going.

Hello,

Here is the update list. Please let me know if I am missing anything.

Thanks,
Stacey

I thought I sent you a PM, but it seems to have disappeared into the great DIS void. :D

We'd love to join the FE group. It's me, my son Tristan (12) and son Aidan (16). No room # yet. It's their 1st cruise. :)
We may end up booking another room for the other half of my family (dh & two more kids), but they all work, so I'm not sure if they can get the time off.

Thanks for organizing the list. :)

Hi Everybody,

Just wanted to introduce our family to the cruise meet thread. We are Amanda (33), Steve (36), Jackson (6) and Amelia (3). This is our third Disney Cruise, and first trip on the Dream! We will be cruising with a large family group that includes both Steve's and my parents, my sisters and their families and two aunties. For many of our group, this will be their first Disney cruise and everybody is so excited! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Stacey, I just sent you an email about our interest in the FEE. I noticed that you already had 13 cabins on the list and I was wondering if you wanted to split into multiple exchanges, especially since this is a short cruise? On our last cruise (which was a seven-day) we capped the groups to 10 and had three different exchanges, which was kind of nice not to have an ENTIRE suitcase filled with the FE gifts. Just a thought (we could always make a decision after the FEE list closes in March).

Second, has anybody thought about opening up a Facebook page for our cruise meet group. We had one with our last cruise and it was a huge success and so fun to get updates, even during and after the cruise!

Finally, is there anybody out there with a really talented artistic side (and access to photoshop) who wants to make up a cruise logo?

Can't wait to hear everybody's ideas!

Amanda

Looks Great Stacy, thanks for doing this.

I have been having computer problems since before Christmas, and it finally went belly up last week. So I am borrowing my husbands laptop.

Making the final payment this week on the cruise:cheer2: What a nice feeling:goodvibes

Looks like we have a great group of people on this cruise!! Can't wait to meet everyone and have a nice vacation. It won't be long now!!! 129 days!!! :cool1:

I am all for the Facebook group thing. I'm not into Facebook enough to set it up though. I'm doing the Princess Half Marathon at Disney next month and our FB group is more active than the Dis thread for the race. Sounds fun if someone wants to set it up.

We had to change our cruise dates because my boys can't miss anymore school. :( We'll be going in August now. Have a great cruise everyone. :)

We are ready for the May 26th cruise, we finally told our kids Christmas morning, he is a link to our video.

What a fun surprise, if you get a little confused at the end, my wife and kids are fluent in Spanish.:cool1:

Nice video. Ok I have to ask....your wife is Puerto Rican and is trying hard to ensure your kids speak Spanish as well right? I identified myself very much with this video...as we have the same issue with our 8 yr old daughter.

Maybe well run into each other in the cruise

Hello,

I think it's a good idea to spilt into groups if the FE gets to large. We can take a vote on it when it closes. I can open a Facebook group if you like. I don't have photoshop. What do you think about doing something with flags since we will be on the boat for Memorial Day.

My wife only speaks spanish to our kids. Can't wait for the crusie!
