Hi Memorial Day travelers!

We can't wait for the cruise! The countdown is on!

A friend of ours has a group booking for this week and has 8 cabins about to expire. 2 are balcony and the other 6 are inside. The rate is unbeatable - if you know of anyone who is interested in joining you on the trip, PM me and I can give you details.

Otherwise - we are starting to work on our FE gifts!!!

No kidding! Small world!!! Wasn't that a GREAT TRIP?!?!?! We had fabulous weather - I even loved watching the storms - beautiful.

Are you going to get off the ship on this cruise? I'm trying to decide if we want to do an excursion in Mexico or not... :/ :/ :/

A friend of mine does corporate group bookings and has a few cabins out of a group for this cruise about to expire for this Memorial Day trip. She just emailed me saying she had 2 balcony and 6 inside cabins left. The balcony ones are adjoining (i'm not sure about the inside.)

$1500 per adult for category 5 balcony midship - these are quads so can accommodate 4
slightly less than that for inside cabin

PM me if interested. She has to sell the cabins by the end of March or she must release them back to Disney. These are great deals if you have a friend who would like to see the Fantasy.

Took DD shopping after church today and found her a couple of dresses and a bathing suit. She has grown quite a bit since last cruise (last May). Now I just need to get her some dressy sandals.

Welcome to our new cruisers! 75 days is very exciting, our vacation is just around the corner . I'm most looking forward to exploring a new Disney ship. Our past 4 DCL cruises were all on the Magic. For off ship, I'm looking forward to the stingrays in GC the most

Yes that was a great trip for us. We had included my mother along with me and DH and it was the first cruise for all of us. We also did WDW before and after so it was very enjoyable and the weather was great the whole time.

We are doing the two different Mayan Ruins at Cozamel and Costa Maya. It was the only thing that really interested DH and me.

Since myself and DD (22) have never sailed before. I am looking forward to everything! I have always wanted to take her Grand Cayman, expecially for the sea turtles. since she was 9 yrs old.
I am also excited to be able to book our excursions at midnight (finally)
Since I booked this cruise back in September, it has taken forever for this date to finally be here. Wish me luck! I have my alarm clock set, just in case I fall alsleep. I've already pre-warned my co-workers that I may be a little bit tired at work tomorrow.

How did you do? I am a first time DCL cruiser too and tonight was the night! I feel like it has taken forever for this day to come. We booked back in 2/2011!

Had my heart set on a dolphin swim at dolphinaris in Cozumel and the Island tour & Stingray City snorkel in Grand Cayman. Got on right at the crack of 11 (I'm in CST) and we got everything we wanted!!

I'm still trying to figure out what to do in Costa Maya. I have been reading of a place called Maya Chan Beach Resort on the cruise critic forums:

It gets great reviews and I am really leaning towards that. Anyone have any knowledge of this place? Good? Bad?

I am a little leary of booking outside of DCL but all their beach excursions seen to require a 45-50 minute bus ride. That is 1.5 hours on the bus. Too much of my time wasted IMO.

As for Castaway Cay we are just doing the beach, no excursions.

Now need to wait until 2 AM (CST) to do the online check-in. Good thing I have some good TV recorded on my Tivo!

I hope everyone else is getting all the things they have been waiting anxiously to book!

Personally, we NEVER book excursions through the cruise line...WAY too expensive!!! Cruise Critic is an EXCELLENT place to learn about private company excursions...and also to make GREAT friends prior to cruising, like we are doing here.

We are swimming with the sting rays and doing the Ultimate Dolphin Encounter with Native Way Water Sports in Grand Cayman, a friend of mine owns it. In Cozumel, we purchased Day Passes to Cozumel Palace...it's an AMAZING resort right on the reef, and we cannot WAIT to go back for the day!

I have been to Maya Chan MANY times...it's AWESOME, however...seeing as how we are only going to be in Costa Maya for less than 5 hours, and it takes 30 minutes each way to get to Maya Chan....we have decided NOT to book this time, as sad as that makes me, because all of the people there are GOOD friends of mine and I would LOVE to see them...just cannot justify the expense for 4 hours MAX....I am VERY disappointed in Disney as we usually have LONGER port times when we cruise on Disney as opposed to Carnival or RCCL...this time they are ALL shorter...I don't get it, but oh well...cannot WAIT to sail on the Fantasy!!!
