I am watching for availability. We added my dd's friend and have to rebook to include her for Palo dining. I am hoping they will just add her when we board, but I would love to have it confirmed before then.

I am so excited about the cruise!

So are we!! We started movie night this week. 12 Disney movies total 3 each to countdown the cruise. Tonight was National Treasure (Scott's pick), and we had Philly Cheese Steaks. Next week is Lady and the Tramp (my pick) with Spaghetti and Meatballs!! The kids are really enjoying it.

I am almost done with there Easter Baskets too, just have to get bathing suits for both of them and snorkel gear.

It's so much fun being in countdown mode...

I have a question, when we book our excursion am I paying up front or they charge me during the cruise? Aslo, has anyone figured out how to book BBB?

My kids make a paper chain for the count down starting March 1st took up three walls in the kitchen but they're enjoying the counting down.

LOL, my kids asked if we could make a paper chain. We did it a few years ago. They loved it!

This is the first time we've made one for a vacation. As long as my 3yr old doesnt remove some with out us know it should be accurate. Shes telling everyone shes going to the mickey mouse boat and names everyone who's going. Very exciting!

The last time that we did it, I purposefully made it too long, so they were thrown off the actual date of our cruise. I completely surprised them with the actual cruise! They actually thought that they were going to the beach for a few days, but I made it for earlier and we ended up on the cruise.

Haley calls it the Minnie boat and is telling everyone too!!!

I have a question for those of you who have cruised before. I have a problem with my ears, well more than one actually, it seems whenever I go in the ocean or my ears get submerged in pool or ocean water I get an outer ear infection. My entire ear canal swells and closes and it hurts like you wouldn't believe! I am hearing impaired so I need my canal open to put my hearing aid in.

I always have to go to the Dr after a water themed vacation immediately and get Cipro pills to take care of the infection. I usually spend the last few days of vacation in pain and not being able to hear. I am wondering if I would be able to get Cipro from the cruise infirmary? I hate to have to spend the last few days of my cruise in pain and not being able to hear. Would they have that kind of basic antibiotic on board?

I sometimes try and use ear plugs while I swim but they never work all that well and I want to be able to hear on my excursions! I doubt they'd even let me use them on a dolphin swim excursion.

I have thought about going to my family Dr prior to leaving and see if I can get some before. I have a $75 co-pay though and I am thinking they won't prescribe something for a possible future issue KWIM? Hate to waste that money!

We do have trip insurance so I could use that when I see the on board Dr. Do you think they'd have Cipro if I have a problem?

TIA!:lovestruc

Cipro can be found in Mexico.......:rolleyes1

I am not sure if the dr on the ship has it.... you might post this question on the cruise line forum.

I would definitely try to call your doctor and ask as well. Haley has asthma and for some reason she gets an attack whenever we go to Florida. I called her doctor before our last cruise and asked if I could get her liquid steriod "just in case" and they did give me a prescription. They also gave me an antibiotic since most of the time it is due to catching some kind of cold.

If the doctor knows this is a pattern with you, they are more likely to give it to you as a preventative.

I'm not sure if they have Cipro, but they do have antibiotics. I had a sinus infection on our last cruise and got penicillin, I think. Had to pay $100 to see the doctor for $2 worth of antibiotics!:scared1: I, being a nurse, brought EVERY medicine BUT antibiotics!:confused3 And I didn't have trip insurance that time.:sad1:

How about Swimmer's Ear or something like that? Do you use that after you get out of the water? I get water in my ears everytime I get them wet! It works really well at drying up your ears. Good luck!

Thanks everyone. Maybe I will just try calling my Dr and see if they possibly will do something over the phone instead of making me come in. Worth a shot I guess.

I am a little weary of buying drugs in Mexico. How do you know you are getting what you are supposed to be getting?

I will have to look into this Swimmers Ear stuff mentioned. That may be something that would help! Thanks for the suggestion!

we were on a cruise a few years back and one of my friends developed a sinus infection and was able to get Cipro in Cozumel.
dh has bought it in Japan too.--
there are stores marked Pharmacia... I have known a few people to get a prescrip there.. no problems. (and people on the ship know where to buy it.

I get water in my ears and use 91% rubbing alcohol, it really helps too.

We have a high co-pay too.. so I feel your pain!

Just finished our FE.
I used 2 pieces of felt and a piece of vinyl to make the front sticker friendly. Added the handle. Then the fun part of adding the stickers. We are both Eeyore fans.

From what I can see, it looks REALLY cute! Can you make the picture bigger, so I can see how the details better? Trying to get ideas! Haven't made ours yet!
