I have a question, when they say that we'll be in Cozumel at 8 AM, is that ship time or local time? Does it make a difference? Thanks :)

Soo excited!!:cool1:

Ship time, but they turn the clocks back on the ship, so you run current with the local time.

so we're in Grand Cayman from 11:30 to 4:45. i wanted to book a wave runner tour to sting ray city (no thruogh DCL). According to the person I spoke, due to the tendering, i can plan a tour until 12:30 at the earliest and the last tender will be at 3:45. So, we really are only in port for 3 hours! The tour I wanted to take is 3.5 hours. I'm so bummed.

the lady I spoke to was very nice and gave me the name of other companies that might have shorter tours, but the shortest says approximately 2.5 hours. Since its not through DCL, I would be way too worried about missing the last tender!:scared:

BUT ... I just looked at the different DCL offerings and it shows several tours that are over 4 hours long and one (that is sold out!) that is 5.5 hours long :scared1:

How is DCL going to make that work? I am so bummed as I am sure that the DCL tour to stingray city will be jam packed with people and we wont get near the attention on the tour I wanted.

So, what is everybody else doing in Grand Cayman???::confused:

character breakfast are on the 7 day or longer cruises. On the Magic, it was in Parrot Cay. Depending on your dinner rotation, that is what day you go. there are 2 times, for early seating and late seating. its a sit down breakfast too. no buffet. it normally takes place on sea days, but with the Western I am not sure how they work the 3rd time..

Its Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip n Dale. The characters come to each table for autographs and pictures. Then towards the end, your waiter makes everyone a napkin hat of sorts. ( goofy, peter pan.) Great way to see the big characters!! :)

Verygfy-I will PM you the information you need. Thank you for keeping up with the orders!

We booked the Nautilus and snorkeling excursion. I would call DCL and ask. Many people have done stingray on there own and had no issues.

Hi! Is it too late to join the FE and recipe card groups? We are four people traveling in two cabins. It is my DH (Steve) and I (Marie) in one cabin and my 16 year old DS (Will - who turns 17 on the cruise) and his uncle (Mike) in the other cabin. I was lurking for a while on this board but never posted because there were questions as to whether we really were going to be able to do this. I haven't been on for a while so I didn't know whether I missed a deadline for the groups. Looks like the trip is a go. Time to get planning!

Welcome aboard!! No, you have not missed the deadline. All deadlines are April 1st!!

Hi, is it too late to join in? I wasn't sure we would be on the cruise (family commitments) but it's definite now. We haven't cruised in several years and are SO excited! :yay: If it's not too late, my family (DH and I, plus DS12 and DS5) would love to participate in the activities.

Would you mind sharing which excursion it is that is sold out? We are some of the tortured souls who have to wait until the 75 day mark to book.:sad1: We have our hearts set on a certain excursion in Grand Cayman and one in Cozumel. Not sure how I will explain to the kids if I can't get them! :scared1:

Which ones are you looking at? I would be more than happy to look them up for you.
