WOW I have missed tons

It took me quite a while reading and getting all caught up.

I apologize, I had to go to Penn. for work last week and came home on Saturday to turn around and have to head to NY for my husbands grandmother funeral and just got home this evening.

I have only been able to keep up with the group through FB for the last 2 weeks!!

So it looks like I have everything updated, please if you sent me your information or posted in the boards in the last 2 weeks for a roll call update, please check the first page and make sure I got it right.

Good News #1: We have over 50 members on this cruise!!!

Good News #2: We reached 100 lanyards, and that is without the doubles!!! We officially have 101 requests for lanyards.

We are both very excited about this cruise! It will be our first cuise.

We can't book any excursions until March 12th. We have narrowed our choices down to three excursion for each port. I'm hoping we won't have any problems .

50 of us on this cruise! OK so there will actually be about 3550 more joining us--but OUR us is at 50! That is AWESOME!!!!

Someone said something about "if we miss you at the DIS meet" does anyone know if that has been scheduled and I missed that post of the where and when?? If anyone knows, please remind me.

We are almost down to the 3 month mark and getting close to when we can book excursions and activities. I just keep hoping there will still be openings left by the time we are able to book! But we are getting SOOOO excited. Really starting to narrow down what we're doing for FE and trying to get our FE completed. OMG and we have magnets to print out. So much to do, so much to do! That 3 months sounds like a long way away and at the same time it feels like its going to be upon us before we know it! Looking forward to meeting all of you.

I definitely agree--THANK YOU for all that y'all have done to help keep us all in line and all the planning and time that y'all have done for all the rest of us. You're the BEST!!!!

Whether it is split or not at this point doesn't matter to us--we just need final numbers of kids, adults, teens/young adults and if they're male or female. I know that sounds like I"m asking a lot, and for that I'm sorry, but for what we're thinking of, it really does make a difference as to if things are made for male or females or if we're gonna do it as cabin/family or for individuals. Is there a cut off date for joining the FE?

One more thing, the Post Card exchange list only has 13 participants according to the spreadsheet I looked at--yet there are 50 in roll call and almost 40 in FE, does that mean that there aren't as many interested in that as the other? Personally, I think it's a neat idea of being able to give/get post cards from someone with their favorite recipe or a bit about themselves, or just to see where they're from.

Now into page 50 in this thread and over 50 members and over 100 lanyards!! I'm only 1 member though and BamaBornNemoNut is on the list as both #7 and #48. Double your pleasure so they say -

I'm going to put this thought out to everyone in the greater Atlanta Metro area. Has anyone looked into or thought about a 33 passenger mini bus charter that Groome offers?? Our group has 15 and seems like there are several others here from the same general area.

Just a thought that a charter might work well over flights/transfers and the cost of fuel keeps going higher.

Also, love it that so many others have older teens and young adults with them.
