Ok I think I missed it. Whats going on with the postcard/recipe exchange?

Poohs4me came up with the idea that she got from another cruise to do a postcard/recipe exchange where we exchange postcards from where we live or with either nothing written on it, or a recipe of some kind (does not have to be disney related). You do not have to be apart of FE to participate, if not part of the FE then it would just be left in the fish by the door.

I hope this helps, if I missed anything poohs4me please jump in!

You got it covered!! :thumbsup2 If you are interested in joining in just let me know.

Can you do double duty and put the recipe on a postcard?:confused3

And for all you non lime green folks...shame on you! ;) You're "dis"ing the Disboard color! However I'm fine with the lanyards. I'll just make my OWN lime green shirt! :rotfl:

:

That is what I did! For the one we participated in, we received recipes on postcards, blank postcards, and postcards with a note written on them about the person's home town.

Next fun question of the day:

when was the 1st time you visited WDW?
For me and John sr it was our honeymoon... Dec 96.

the girls first visit was April 2002, Natalie was 2 and Gabby 4.

Jr was in 2004... he was 8 months.

We have gone every year since.. Living in Ga, has made it so much easier to visit Mickey and friends!! :)

Next fun question of the day:

when was the 1st time you visited WDW?
My first trip to WDW was about 1973, but I don't remember that trip much, although my parents could tell you everything about it.

The next trip that I really remember was in 1988, when I decided to leave the midwest and go to college only 45 minutes from WDW.

I fell in love and now I live in St. Petersburg (only 1.5 hrs from WDW) and I have had annual passes since I moved here permanently in 1997 and have owned DVC since my oldest DD was born in 2001.

Next fun question of the day:

when was the 1st time you visited WDW?

1992 was my first visit as a kid with my aunt and uncle.

Mitch and I went back together in August of 1996 and have been back every year since!!

Scott's first visit was in 2000 for his 2nd birthday and has been with us on every trip.

Haley's first visit was August 2006, we went for my birthday and she was only 6 weeks old :scared1:...

Next fun question of the day:

when was the 1st time you visited WDW?

Me: 2007 for an EEG conference at Coronado springs. I was only able to go into the park 1 day. OF course that meant we just had to go back so I could see every thing.
DH: 2006 for a Respiratory conference. He stayed at the Contemporary.
DD: Jan 2010. We were finally able to convince her she should go.

Fun question of the day:
Who is your favorite Disney character?

My favorite is Eeyore with a close love for Tinkerbelle
My DH really is not sure who his favorite is although I use Grumpy and Mickey a lot for him on our cabin magnets.
Our DD is Tigger
One of our DS's is Pooh and one of the other DS is Donald

I you could see me in lime green or any color green for that matter, or even some browns and all oranges (except peach) you would understand my aversion to the color. Just is not a pretty picture!! :scared1:

Next fun question of the day:

when was the 1st time you visited WDW?

I don't know about my DH since he went a lot when he was stationed at Patrick AFB, but the first time he took us was in 1987. My DD was only 9 months old and the boys were 7 and 10. We said at that time we would go back every 2 or 3 years, but in actuality we did not return until 1998, but since then we have been back every 3 years or less. :thumbsup2

Put us down for the recipe/postcard Our cabin number is 8570 (DH decided not to change so that is also for the FE!!) and our state is Texas :goodvibes

You got it covered!! :thumbsup2 If you are interested in joining in just let me know.

I've never heard of a recipe postcard exchange before, but it sounds awesome! :woohoo: Could you add me to the list?

Thanks, Wendy

Oh - Favorite Character is Tink for all the girls in our family, Captain Jack for the boys (does he count as a character?) :confused3

First time to WDW was last year - we went there for 2 days before we got on the Wonder for our first Disney cruise. Before that we had only been to Disney Land.
