Yeah, no kidding. But, I'm dreading it. I haven't been since my dd was born (I know, I know....), and she's 11. We're self-employed and our insurance stinks. Start to Start is about 2 1/2 weeks. Not good, I know. With it coming that often, it's hard to make a Gyn appt that I'm not "entertaining".

I can imagine my foot and ankle being orange....and I wouldn't have any idea what the right consistency would be as I don't play with tumeric normally. Is is more salt or tumeric?

Gifts- don't worry about them with the packing restrictions, honestly! That is why I did name badges- I took the easy way out.

Where do you live. It doesn't say below your screen name. I got mine at whole foods. I believe you can also get them at drugstore.com If nothing else you can get isotonic saline mix at Walgreens and CVS- you mix the salt packet with water and use a squirt bottle thing to deliever it. I think the inital spray would put me into the "I'm going to drown mode"- but if nothing else, it is the same thing- just different delivery. look at sinusrinse.com

I've done the neti with my son, who laughs becuase it feels funny- my DH stands outside the door and shakes his head, while junior does farmer blows into the toilet after. I'm a nurse, what can I say- I find humor in gross and inappropriate things.

Nasal washings are becoming cool due to Oprah....

Go see the fine folks at Planned Parenthood- they do see people other than young girls and they do have full GYN services- tell them you don't really have insurance and the price will be VERY reasonable. If you go to the on in SLC you will get a lot of the U docs who like to volunteer time there. I always saw them for care until my insurance told me I couldn't any longer.

I am also a nurse so the gross and inappropriate things are a normal part of my everyday life

tap water is free (and completely potable). If you order bottled water you pay for it.

"Hidden fees" - "Spa", "bar tab," "excursions" and "souvenears". Also crew tips at the end of the trip.

We also drink the onboard "free" stuff and have refilled the bottles. My DH loves the lemon/lime water in the spa area and will go up there and fill a sport bottle to drink later. He even started buying lemons & limes to make a pitcher at home

I find the water on the ship in the stateroom at up at the drink station better than my water at home. No complaints here.

I can't speak for anyone else but I was sleeping. Went to bed about 8-ish with a sick headache only to get up about 1/2 hour ago and can't get back to sleep. SO , when you can't sleep what does one do, eat? clean? pack? laundry? HECK NO!! Check the DIS and see what is going on - lol

Haircut later this morning and then start all that stuff. We all will have a busy weekend doing final things like . it is all a mater of time now and we can let the party begin

I'm here with you this late. Never went to bed though. I'd like to skip the next 4 days, there is so much to do that I'm overwhelmed and want to hide....

We're trying to get kids' reports, school work and projects finished up to turn in Monday. This includes a video for spanish, taken from tape and loaded on puter then burned onto CD. Trebleshea (sp) 8 ft tall, finished loaded on truck and taken to H.S. Pedicures for 4, soccer games, baseball games, last loads of laundry (cause kids won't stop wearing clothes.... ) Making sure all cruise info, personal info, etc is copied for friend in case of emergencies. Food stocked in the freezer for house sitter, and then trying to explain the nuances of keeping things going around here.

I continue to come home with shopping bags; DH wants to know what's in them. Finally I tell him to not even ask, he won't like the answer...

I'm sure everyone is in the same boat. BUT, that's what we're aiming for is the boat right? The magic boat. I'll be dancing as soon as Sunday rolls around and we can pack (after church clothes are washed).

Good Morning everyone.

I was sleeping. I didn't get much sleep Thursday night so I needed to catch up. Since Bill is only working Monday and Tuesday, we're going to start trying to adjust some hours this weekend and next week. I work at home so it doesn't matter to me. I was up at my mom's for Thurs & Fri and Bill did a lot around the house while I was gone -- cleaning and yardwork !! There's still more to do, but he did a lot!!

Off to work for a bit!! Have a great day!! One week from now we'll be getting ready to board the Magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
