According to the Disney Web site there is only 1 cat 9 and one cat 11 cabin left.

I wouldn't count on that. I see category 9, 11 and 12 available for a double. There are only three cabin numbers left but all are listed as guarantee also.

i put our name on the guest list but it didn't show up. wanted to be made sure we are included on the activites. Where are people staying the night before in barcelona . We had a hard time finding a place also are any people staying the night after the cruise in barcelona. cindy

First - make sure you've checked out the first post on page 55. Ken has links to everything that you need to sign up for. Many of the activities require you to PM to someone (like me!). There is also a list of FAQs for the cruise listed on page 1, post 15.

There are quite a few people staying both before and after the cruise. Barcelona hotels have over 80% occupancy rates, so this close in it'll be hard to find something. Best bet is to just make a reservation so you have something - then keep looking around to see if you can find something better. Barcelona hotels are much more expensive than we are used to in the states. This close in, $100 will get you something like a Motel 6 in town and a better hotel outside of town near the Metro. That doesn't mean you can't find a bargain - it just means that you have to look really, really hard.

FRIDAY EVENING, May 25th: Enjoy the light, water and music show of the Magic Fountain! Show begins at 8pm and runs every 30 minutes until midnight. Time for our meet is 8PM. We will meet at the base of the fountain near the steps to the Museu National d'Art Catalunya. Take the Metro (or go by foot) to Placa Espanya. Go through the tall columns following the small water fountains until you reach the big oval Magic Fountain. We'll meet on the far side closest to the steps of the museum. Look for wild and crazy DISer's speaking English (it's kind of hard to miss a DIS group).

Here is a picture of the fountain in full glory. Here is an orientation picture from the steps at the Museu National d'Art Catalunya. The oval fountain at the bottom of the steps is the Magic Fountain. If you keep looking in the distance you will see two tall columns. Those mark the entrance at Placa Espanya.

sue thank you for the update. We have something the night before but still looking for the night after. The problem has been that we have 11 of us and many of the rooms only hold 2 people sometimes 3. but keeping my eye open. The other 4 in our group are 2 on the repo and 2 flying in the day of.
