DH and I want to do 1 or 2 tastings (wine, champagne or mixology) and now I have to find out more about this chocolate tasting.

Where else (besides cabanas) can we grab lunch after boarding?
All my other cruises I've just done cabanas but now I'm reading some of the restaurants are open? Any one have an idea of which ones?

Enchanted garden will be open as a buffet, but it's not open until noon maybe?

I'm doing the mixology this cruise, and I think that Pam's joining me. Last May I did the Cognac tasting. MMMMMM. Sort of buzzed when I got out of that one!

I think I will do my tasting by the pool

Ill be doing almost everything alone since it'll be just my dd and myself on the cruise. She'll be doing activities at the Edge and I'm doing my own thing. At least at dinner and during our shore excursions I won't be alone. .

We will have to connect as my daughter is nine and will be spending tons of time in the lab I imagine. I love the idea of the tastings- martini, beer, margarita- you name it!

I know we briefly discussed PATs before but who has an early one? We have 1100-1130 PAT and even though we'll have an official FE meet later in the afternoon, I thought it would be nice for the kids to start getting together even at the terminal. Especially for our DD who turns 8 next week and is all about making new friends.

Or is that just too much rushing? We've had the first PAT before and I feel like we were on the ship and having lunch at Cabanas by 1145.

Same here about Enchanted Garden. We didn't choose it, a CM directed us there as a way to keep the traffic manageable between there and Cabanas. I'm not sure if the other MDRs are even open. I do know there was more variety at Cabanas and everyone could find something they wanted in our group.

First, WELCOME Aboard!!


Well here is the basic idea (also refer to the Google Document: May 25 Fantasy Cruise FE listing in JohnPa's signature)....The is a fish, starfish, or other sea creature type sconce next to your stateroom door. Disney uses it as a holder for your mail--tickets for excursion, reminders for adult dining, and anything else they need you to know. You can create or buy a fish extender (FE) to hang on your "sconce". It is just a vertical hanger with pockets used to collect your FE gifts.

Anyone that wants to participate signs up and then as a group everyone decided whether to give gifts to the entire group or split up into sub-groups. If you do a single group, I have seen some be as many as 100+ people. You can give one gift per stateroom, one gift per person in stateroom, a gift each day, or just one gift for the entire cruise. JohnPa's notes under the FE guidelines tab does a great job at explaining this a lot better. Also try some the links to view fish extenders. We had someone else make ours. We have 3 pockets with a Disney character on each-a pocket for DH and I, and then a pocket for both kiddos. HTH

Sounds like a great match for Jazzy! We also have a DS aged 13, but he hangs out Edge the entire time and we only see him for dinner and to get a ride home after the cruise

In addition to our DD's 7 and 8 we also have a DS 12 and a half. He'll be looking for some buddies...see you at the terminal! My plan is to have us all in neon orange shirts, would stand out ! Lol. Please come say hello!!

Our DD is 7 (8 in November). Hoping she makes some friends to hang out with. From GA too but flying in Friday morning and checking out one of the parks.
