We did. Never wanted one before, but decided to try it this time around. We have always had a great time on CC and have our own special spot on the family beach. I guess we shall see how it goes.

DWF let me know after the cruise how you liked it. My crazy almost 11 year old DS isn't a big fan (hence the crazy part) of Castaway Cay! We are in concierge next year, and I'm debating if I want to try for one. I thought maybe getting a cabana would entice him into letting me enjoy the island more.

I am planning to do it as well. I've been trying to run 3 miles at the gym I went from 45 minutes I'm down to 31

The 5K will be the morning we arrive at CC. Usually meet at 0815 in one of the bars (it will be listed in the navigator) and leave the ship about 0900. I know last cruise we ran it and had time to make it back to cabanas for breakfast. That's all I got b/c I'm not an expert on the cabanas.

DH and I will be. Good reason to get in shape and start running again. Is there a place for kids to go during it? If possible we don't want to bring the kids because they probably won't enjoy it much.

There are kids areas I think one was called skuttle cove (sp?)
I don't have kids and don't travel with any but I remember seeing it last time, I think it was a water play area
