Hi Everyone!

I know this weekend is when you all leave (it's still marked in my calendar) and I wanted to wish you all a very happy vacation! We were supposed to be on this cruise with our 2 young DD's and my parents, we even booked it more than a year in advance, but we had to cancel our trip in March. It's for a good reason though . We found out in December that I'm pregnant with our 3rd DD. We didn't think it was possible since doctors told me I could never get pregnant on my own (I needed medical intervention with both of my other DD's), so this was quite a shock - but such a wonderful blessing. I called DCL and they said I couldn't travel past 24wks and I'm already 31wks along. I can't complain though because we couldn't be happier!!!

I wanted to wish you all a wonderful cruise! I'll be thinking of you all throughout your entire cruise, wishing I was there. We will be there in spririt though. Hope the cruise goes smoothly and you all make some wonderful memories. I can't wait to read the trip reports when you return! Have fun!!!

Sorry I was MIA for awhile there and missed sending the swanky one and the pirate off.

Hello my name is Melissa and I get carried away buying things for other people I hope you have deep pockets in your extenders my fishy friends! But it makes me feel accomplished until I realize that's the ONLY thing I have packed at this moment Everything else is in piles though Guess I should get packing!!
Husband is home safe thanks for remembering Kim We leave tomorrow morning. I'm hoping that most the holiday traffic will be this afternoon but I'm not holding my breath
Can't wait to see you all at the Micky pool (please be advised DH is from Barbados and lives on island time...will try to get there as close to 2 as possible ) Ok off to pack! Will check in later!
Oh! Forgot to ask....anyone else going to Tony's in Mazatlan?

DD12 wanted me to post this picture she took of all the decorations we made last weekend for our stateroom doors (we have 2 cat 9's).

You can see how busy we were last weekend. But a Disney cruise is worth it right?

Melissa......I'm in the same boat as you...no pun intended. I only have Fishy stuff packed and I can't believe it filled an entire tote that I could pack to go away for a long weekend! Everything else is laying around my house in piles.

I haven't planned anything to do in ANY of the ports!!!! I have no clue what to do!

Everyone leaving today and tomorrow....have a saft trip down here. We'll see you all at the Mickey pool!!!!

Hey everyone! We've made it to Long Beach - boy did we have some bad weather and bad visibility - especially through the San Bernadino range. Now we have have a lovely view of the Queen Mary and can't wait to see you all soon!

Sasha - Congratulations! Wish you were coming with us, but I'm SO happy for you!!! That is awesome news!

Hi Everyone!

I've been "lurking" for months and really appreciate you all for sharing what you know. Unfortunately I have a not-so-good reason to finally post myself

I had tentatively booked a snorkeling shore excursion in PV because my husband really wanted to and the Cabo one he wanted was sold out. Meanwhile we booked a private group tour for our extended family of 10 that'll be on the cruise (I'm sure you can see where this is going...)

Well all this time I thought that my husband cancelled the reservation but when I logged on today after work I saw that it was still booked!!! Of course we're now past that 3 day cut off to make changes. Doh!

I called Disney but they pretty much said what I thought they would--that there was nothing they could do about it.

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows if anything can be done to fix this big fat mistake. I would hate to fork over $150 bucks for an excursion we won't even be taking. Any ideas?

On a lighter note we just can't wait!! My boys (age 4 and 2) keep asking how many more "sleeps" are left till we go on the Mickey Boat.

I'm off to bed....well I think I must pack a few things or I will be in FULL panic mode when I wake up......off to do something other than reading these boards that I've read for the past 2 hours!

Hey everyone! I can't believe we will be boarding tomorrow. I also can't believe it's still raining! That never rains in Southern California stuff is FALSE advertising.

We went and saw the new Indiana Jones flick lastnight. It was really fun seeing the old characters, and as usual it was a fun entertaining romp. Although I have to admit Lucas was stretching it a bit with the storyline. Now, we can't wait to see Prince Caspian onboard! BTW, if others are planning on doing that with the kids - that might be a fun group thing.

Dr. Mom, I'm not positive about this, but I thought you could still cancel onboard directly. I don't know why they wouldn't let you since they are still taking reservations at this time. I was under the impression the 3 day restriction was for online/over the phone. But, actually onboard you can still make changes. If I was you, I'd head to the excursion desk first thing and see if you can cancel it. I hope it works out for you!

Kind of bummed that looking outside this morning is still raining - and walking back from the theater lastnight was still raining. I wanted some sunshine for our fun today.

But, it's all good - we're still on vacation and VERY excited!

I hope our resident pirate hasn't waterlogged his pegleg! AAARRR

yep......I'm still here in not so sunny southern california! I've got SO much to do today...I'm a bit jealous that those of you that are here or are on your way are on vacation already and most of all packed!!!!

I'll keep checking to see if anything is new around here. See you tomorrow.....off to do something productive...and drink my coffee!!
