Thank you for the well wishes. Normally, it would not be too big a deal. There are three of us in the office. But she is wanting to take him to France and she doesn't want 2/3 of the office out of the country at one time.

That stinks:(

MaverickMom- that stinks! You will be missed:goodvibes:goodvibes

Good Morning everyone! We are on spring break here in Philly, so I am enjoying the day off! That leaves a whole lot of time on the disboards:):)

Good morning :sunny:

It's Patriot Day here in Massachusetts, so I have the day off. It's a state holiday, and I had never heard of Patriot Day before I moved here from NJ. I think the public schools have this week off, too.

I agree Patti, it's a good day to Dis! :surfweb: LOL

Edited to add:
I was curious as to what exactly Patriot Day is. Here you go:

Patriots Day. Today is a day to remember the events of April 19, 1775 when a ragtag group of colonists wagging battle against the Red Coats in Lexington and Concord. What some people may not know is the bloodiest battle of the day was not forged in either of those communities, but was actually in Arlington. The Red Coats were retreating through Arlington (then called Menotomy) when they fired on colonists at a farmhouse along today’s Massachusetts Avenue. The result was the bloodiest battle on the first day of the American Revolution.

I have never heard of Patriots day. Now Im curious if other states have special days exclusive to that state. (Ill have to look it up when I get a sec)
Have a nice day off!

Hi everybody :)

Since MaverickMom has to reschedule her cruise and can't be with us on this one, it's probably a good idea to start a new thread so that the main page can be continually updated. AlexandNessa (Jodie) and I each offered to start up the new thread, and after sending messages back and forth, it was decided that I would start it. :)

I'll post the link to the new thread here, once I've started it. And then we can ask the Moderators to close this one out.
