Yeah, about that. I have been known to take a thousand in a very short timeframe. In my defense it was a recital And then there are the times when family comes to visit and as the offical tour guide, part of my duty requires taking photos. They go home with thousands

My laptop will be full of pictures. Between me and DD, we will download nightly.

Ok, let me clarify. The question was what we were looking forward to doing onboard. I'll only be onboard half the time. I'm coming prepared with lots of memory cards and plan on going home with thousands of pics after all is said and done. Besides, hundreds can become thousands, just in smaller increments.

They offer two tours that I can find. A "walk the ship tour" and an "Art of the Theme Show" tour. I doubt the go to much "behind the scenes" but we do like to see how things are done. Sometimes they have talks with imagineers, those are fun to go see also. The chocolate and beverage pairing video I found on the dis unplugged you tube channel. It's actually titled "chocolate tasting on the Disney Wonder" I'm excited now, I thought it was just on the bigger ships! Does anyone know where we go on the ship to sign up for the "adult tastings"?

When they did the chocolate tasting it was at Palo but I believe you sign up for it at guest services like all the other adult tastings... I'm definitely dropping by GS to sign up for that one!

In Juneau the Pandora shop was Pioneer Jewelers, right on the the dock. When we were there in 2009 you could see it from the ship.

Can't remember exactly where the outlet in Ketchikan was, but walking distance.

1) Does anyone else scrapbook out there?

2) What onboard activities does everyone else like to do? Bingo, Mouseketeer, Trivia, family games, etc?

3) What is everyones favorite dessert onboard that you are looking forward to having again, and for the first timers, wanting to try for the first time?

1) I don't scrapbook, sorry. I'm just not much of a picture person either, although I will probably bring my camera and try to get some wildlife pictures.

2) Definitely Trivia and I enjoy the evening activities in Wavebands, particularly performer Cabarets and the themed night dance parties (Disco Legends, Rockin' Rowdy, 80's, etc.).
I sometimes go to the family events (So You Think You Know Your Family is fun to watch), but usually I try to stick to the Adult events if there's something fun going on.

3) In Palo brunch, the little panna cotta. Yum! If it's main dining room, I usually stick to the ice cream sundaes at dinner. At lunch, I look for some sort of fruit crumble dessert and top it with ice cream.

Do you plan out your next day after getting your personal Navigator that night, or do you fly by your pants and go throughout the day just checking the Navigators when you get the "what shall we do next" bug?

What is the one item you hope to purchase on the ship? If you are like me, you can pick more than one item

What is the one item you hope to purchase in the ports? Again, if you MUST contribute to the economy for more than one item, tell us about all of them.

Ooh... they just had a bit of a menu change-up and I really liked the potato-leek gratin with collards that's on one of the new menus. Sooooo good. There's also a tofu on Israeli couscous on the Triton's rotation menu that I enjoy.

I always scrutinize the following day's Navigator when I return to my stateroom at night. The activities are my social outlet so I love to see what's going on. I never cruise to relax.

I will probably look for a new DCL Alaska hoodie since I broke the zipper on the one I got in 2011.

In the ports, I will definitely be picking up some smoked salmon. I like looking for unique food items in the cruise ports. Even on bahamas or caribbean itineraries I may have sailed before, I usually look for seasonings and hot sauces.

Oh my. You had to mention scrapbooking. My wife is frantically working on our scrapbook from our Bahamas cruise this last Dec 2013. She's trying to have it "done" before this cruise. I don't see it happening, because there was LOTS OF FUN, but she's working hard on it.

As far as onboard... BINGO!!! YES!!!! Do I ever win? Nope.

But it's fun nonetheless. Just can't wait till May 23 gets here (we are driving up the day before). Can't wait!

We are leaving from ballantyne but the suggestion is not to stay near there. Apparently it's not the best area? The suggestion is to stay downtown. DCL is shuttling people over there from canada place.

I tend to eat more at lunch and less at dinner but in cooler weather I really like soup.

Oh and someone mentioned French onion soup - what is everyone's favorite soup on board?

I don't scrapbook. I'm just not crafty like that. Although when my granny turned 90 we did a scrapbook thing where every family made a page. I think that was cool.

We signed up in the D-Lounge as soon as we boarded the ship. That was where you changed dining reservations and signed up for different things on the Magic. We had a decent sized group and it was held in what used to be the Cadillac Lounge.

All of the mixology classes were fun, I will not do martini tasting again, because I have realized that I do not like Martinis.

What food/meal are you most looking forward to having on the ship? My traditional Palo dinner (mozzarella and tomato salad; gnocchi in the incredible cheese sauce, the tenderloin with both the gorgonzola and red wine reduction and the macerated berries in zabiglione (I know I mispelled that)

A little of both - we'll pick the big things, then just see where the wind blows us in between (which tends to often be to the Cove Cafe)

Not rude at all. On our 2nd cruise I had just had a gastric bypass a couple of months before and once I told our serve staff they were great about it.
Just talk to your servers and they should be just fine.
