Happy Friday!!! We actually bought a lotto ticket in GA on our way home last week. We had NO idea what the prize was until we saw a billboard down the road!!! WOW!!! I'd share that if I won it!!!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday. We are off to get golf shoes and gloves for ds and to practice. He has golf try outs (for his middle school!!) on Tuesday. He hasn't been golfing in almost 2 years. He used to go during the summer for a short camp. And then all the time with Papa. So we need to get some practice in before Tuesday. (dh and I know NOTHING about golf!! luckily Papa is coming along today as long as there is somewhere that he can sit and watch).

I was looking back at my cruise trip report from 2005 and this is one of my favorite pictures!!! just had to share to get in the "cruisin mood". LOL

Well we are in a pretty festive mood, We got about a foot of snow yesterday!
was out plowing until about 2 AM...

Then could not get to sleep!

Every time I opened up the end of a drive the plow would come by and plow it back in!


As I look out the window this morning, I see that the plow is gone, So is Jenn, someone else must have needed to plow there drive, as I now have a ford taurus in the drive!


That is a good thing cause it was on EMPTY!!!!

You are not going to get very far!
unless you put Gas in it!
and that is something to be happy about!!!!!

Good morning!!

WOW did someone say SNOW??? No snow here...just cold!!!

We did go out and find a place for ds to practice putting...my poor dad just "had" to come with us and it was outside of course and he was sooo cold. But he wouldn't admit it. The place is VERY small and the owners live there. She went to go get a heater for dad to put outside for him! So sweet! They will actually be the ones working with ds middle school for the golf team (hopefully ds will make the team). After she found out about dads sickness..she also said a prayer for him. She really was sweet.

Today we are all lazy!! Such a busy day yesterday! We also saw Spiderwick Chronicals last night with ds. It was pretty good (not my type of film..but much better than I thought it was).

Can't wait to see what you scan in later Jenn!!

Not so quiet here in metro Atlanta this morning! Thunderstorms with torrential downpours moved through - luckily very early in the rush hour (6-7am), but Rachel (my 23 y/o) got caught in it and I think she's still trying to calm her nerves.

Heather, did y'all have bad weather overnight? Hope you and your DS are feeling better today.

I'm home from my training in Michigan, but still trying to get things caught up. (as if that would EVER happen! )

Yeah, we did get that bad weather. At 12:30am the weather alarm went off with a watch. Then at 3:30 am it went off with the warning and everything went crazy. THe wind was crazy! I thought our windows were going to crash in!!

Wow...how scary for Rachel! That was some nasty stuff to try to drive in!

Ds went to school today..still kind of sick but much better. Since I didn't get any sleep really last night..I'm still kinda feeling yucky! LOL

Hope you get everything caught up soon!

Well, I finally saw snow!!!!

I was watching our local news...and called my dh in to confirm that it was indeed snow falling in the background where the reporter was reporting from. I went down to ask my parents where this city was...and it was just down the way from us. (i'm still not familiar with all the cities/counties here yet)

We went outside and it was kinda sleeting maybe snowing. We went in for a few minutes and then went back out and it started "pouring down snow!!!" (thank goodness we went back out...we weren't going to)

(Reminder:Twice this year it has snowed her at my house in AL, and both times I have been in FL!! )

It really only snowed for about 5-10 minutes...I even went up to wake up my ds since he hasn't seen snow either. He came out as it was stopping...and then said he was going back to bed...LOL

DH...

And DS...I asked him this am if he even remembers seeing snow..he just looked at me and then said..Oh, yeah....

It came and went so fast I began second guessing myself...did I really see snow??? LOL Now all I need is for it to snow a few hours and stay on the ground!! (it is snowing a bit further noth of us..but we don't expect to get anymore)
