May 21-26 Crowds?

I have a friend who is considering going to Disney May 21- 26. This is a quick decision for her as she is buying a week of time share from a relative. How will the crowds be for her? She hasn't decided yet and is looking into the pros and cons of this time of the year.

We always go the 3rd week in May. First because our kids can usually be finished and/or wrapping up school. Second, because most kids are still in school. Third, the heat is not unbearable as of yet...Fourth, the crowds are maintainable...meaning not too too crowded. With the FP, you really don't have to wait longer than 15-20 min. (maybe less, occasionally more). We've also been in Oct. and found that the crowds were very similar.
We do love this time though. Outside of going one time in Oct., we have and probably will always go around this week!

We often go around mid-May - crowds are not heavy, wait times are decent - last year though it was quite hot and humid already - hitting 90-92 degrees but the summer thunderstorms had not started yet.

The one thing to bear in mind this year and it is only at the tail end of the time period is the DVC members homecoming on May 25-27 - this could bump up park attendance to be busier than normal for this time of year.

I would say go this time of year but the weather could be hotter and more humid than you would expect - the weather channel shows 89-90 degree highs as normal and 67-68 degree lows
