Welcome!

I know my family planning on participating, but I'm not sure we've started anything very official as a group (beyond the information provided for the group spreadsheet). Probably now that summer's about over, we'll start to get a little more serious about organization! :)

We will plan on doing Fish Extenders for both cruises :) I'm also trying to talk my MIL and FIL into doing them as well :)

Yes, we are in for FE on both cruises. My daughters are joining us on second leg of B2B and they are quite excited about them. We have been brainstorming, but not actually started yet.

And somehow I let the date slip by! Last Wednesday was got us down to only eight months of waiting left!!:goodvibes

My DH and I are booked on the B2B. We're good for the FEs on both.:goodvibes

I know - I'm waiting anxiously for Southwest to release their airfares - hopefully we can swipe a good deal before the rest of the world realizes that's a holiday weekend and starts buying their flights! We're actually flying in/out of Seattle and taking the train - it's so much less expensive than flying into Vancouver for us!

Welcome! And congrats on the anniversary!

Yeah I'm anxiously awaiting the Southwest fares as well! Hoping to get 2 decent one way tickets since we go into LA and out of Seattle.

Welcome to everyone new who are joining us! Please send me a PM with your info and post which cruise it is!

In one week I will be cruising on the Wonder so when I return, I will have to start getting serious about this!

We're planning to do the same thing. We'll be flying into Seattle though. I checked the Amtrak prices and they are somewhere around $35 now. I thought that was pretty good.

I see you have the cabin that we have this coming week! This will be our first time in that type of cabin.

It will be for us too. We had a navigators verandah the first time we sailed on the Wonder and were excited that this stateroom was open when we booked the Alaska Cruise.

It seems that we have some similar cruises. We are going on the Wonder to the Mexican Riviera on Oct 23. We had originally thought about going on 10/2 to take advantage of the restricted fares, but didn't decide soon enough, and the prices went back up before we got booked, so we opted for the 23rd instead. We were also right there with you on the Inaugural Cruise for the Dream in January. We had a great stateroom on that one. My daughter decided she wanted to see what it would be like at the back of the ship, so we booked what was advertised as a navigator's verandah room right at the back and were really amazed at the practically hotel room size of the balcony (which was not a solid white wall balcony) we accidentally lucked into!

So that makes at least three of us on this cruise that were on the Dream Inagural if I'm reading this right! What a small world! (It's a world of laughter, a world of tears... - sorry, that song just kind of popped out before I could stop it!) :rotfl:

How nice! I wish we had been able to go on the Dream cruise. We were on the Wonder bringing her home to California and couldn't see spending the money to head back to Florida! We did get to see her as we sailed out of PC. Very pretty! I had a chance to do an overnight on her but it occured while I was on the Wonder so no go on that one :(

But it's such a great song!!! :-)

That was what I thought as I was reading. Sounded like 3. It is a small world after all :-)

How did you get your banners to rotate like they do?

I think I misread. I though you said somewhere that you were on the Dream Inaugural. Sorry :-(

Could you do me a favor, or maybe you already know the answer to this. When we went on our first cruise in 2008 on the Wonder, the drink stations on the ship had fresh brewed tea available. When we went on the Dream in 2011, the drink stations had yukky Nestea in the fountain dispenser. If you have been on the Wonder lately and know already could you tell me or if you haven't, could you check when you go in a few days and see whether the Wonder still has fresh brewed tea at the drink stations or has Disney completely switched to yukky Nestea? :-)

I will take a look. I didn't have any when I was on her in January so I will make sure I take a look next week and let you know.
