Okay. I started reading thru the fish extender thread and it's WAY long!! Can anyone point me to ideas for gifts for the FEs? Do we do one small gift for each day or one large or what? Also, what are some ideas for the adults?

I'm not real creative. Sorry!!

I forgot to include my own girls....and I'm not sure what I did with the count for boys. Your numbers look right!

I purchased some small gifts yesterday but I was wondering if most people are going to place gifts each day or just one time. Either way is fine with me!!

Also, I didn't want anyone to be confused when they see my fish extender. I'm having it made and including my 20 year old son Ryan. Unfortunately, he's not going on the Disney cruise with us because it was like double our total cost for him to go!! He is going on the cruise with us on May 30th though.

I just couldn't bring myself to have the FE made without his name though!!

I have a question about Sea Lice. According to the "sticky" this could be a problem during the time we're traveling. Is anyone taking precautions? The last post on the sticky thread is from a few years ago, and I don't know if I should mention it to my family or should I just keep the hazzard to myself.

Does anyone know if you can still get a pillow case sgined by all the Disney Gang? And if so how do we go about doing this?

We did this in Feb. YOu have to put it in a bag with the markers you want them to sign it with and then a nice thank you note with a small gift - candy, phone card, etc is nice for them and let them know if you want the Fab 5 to sign or all the characters. Also include your name and cabin number.

Take it to the front desk on day one and you will receive back the last night in your cabin.

Examples of items would be things you can find in the Dollar Store or at Target in the $1 area. For the kids, I kind of thing of it as birthday goody bags. What would I give if I was having a birthday party

I think we will do it each day. My daughter loves playing mail man. And I think the kids will get a kick of finding a little something each day. Heck the adults too! 9 More days!

I would not worry about the sea lice, if they think it will be a problem when we go to castaway cay they will notify swimmers or you can ask. You can google sea lice to get more info on it. I have never had a problem or ever know anyone to have a problem before and I live in SFL.

My husband actually started this thread but it's been awhile since either one of us have been on this board. We were just talking and realized that we never responded to joining the fish extender list. Please tell me we are not too late. I saw in a previous post that SneakyPigs asked that we give no less than one week notice. I know we are just over a week out so I am hoping that this is okay. I actually have been slacking a little in the preping department for the cruise. We are doing a land/sea vacation and will be on land first. I kind have been doing a lot to get ready for our land portion of the trip. Opps!

We are a family of four. Myself (Jamie), My Hubby (Joe), Jacob (5), and Jenna (2 almost 3). I have however done a bit of shopping for gifts for the extenders already. If we are too late I totally understand. We can't wait only 9 more days til we board. Woo Hoo!

We went on the cruise at the end of Feb and had no problem. I don't think it'll be an issue. If it's really boy I would think Disney would let us know. I would keep this a secret to yourself for now.

It is usually on the same night as Nassau...the 2nd night.
