May 21, 2009 - 3 Night WONDER

I can't wait until we get our docs.

I'm still working on my paperwork to send back to Disney Fairy Tale Weddings. Only 5 1/2 weeks. YAY!!!!!!!

Check your ressies!!! We just got assigned our room #. We booked a Cat 12 and were assigned 1048. Little nervous about the lower decks, but very excited about the upgrade. I am afraid to tell DH for fear I will blow it and they will change our # again. But for now...Yeah!

Looks like we currently have #2108. I don't know much difference between a lower and upper deck since this is our first cruise. It look like we've been upgraded to a Category 9 for now. I know it could change......

Looks like a good location. I am a bit worried. Lots of reports of noise issues in the middle of the night. We shall see.

We are assigned 2026 & 2028. Where does that put us on the ship?

Oh I found it. Deck two front of the ship port side. Looks like it's an outside room. Is that porthole room?

Oh another edit...looks like they moved us up to a Deluxe Oceanview room. Very cool!

Got my room number over the weekend, room 2016, so excited, got an upgrade to oceanview deluxe room. My room is very close to a few others on the board, awesome!!

If you have your room number and want to do the fish extender goodies - please list your room number and names of people in room and age and sex so we can get the fish extender list started so everyone knows how many things that need to make up.

All of you lucky guys. Anyone else down in the basement with us?:rotfl:

I wish we had been offered a guarantee so we could hope for an upgrade!! We got a specific category 11. I guess all the guaranties were sold out when we booked. But I'm not complaining because we've never been on a Disney cruise and are really, really excited!!!

We want to do FE. I think I might have listed this info before---but just in case:

#2108
Megan- 37
Steve-37 (birthday on ship)
Emma-6
Hannah-4

Cruise Docs arrived today! Anyone else get them too?

We got ours!! We're still keeping it a surprise from the girls. It's pretty easy though since they know we're going on a cruise the next week with lots of other family. So I'll be able to pack and all and they'll think we're getting ready for that cruise. Although my youngest did ask the other day if we would see characters on the cruise and we told her no, we're going on Carnival!!

Just called for the movie listings for our cruise. Here they are:

HSM3
Bolt in 3D
Hannah Montana Concert in 3D
Bedtime Stories
Jonas Brothers Concert in 3D
Confessions of a Shopaholic
EARTH
Hannah Montana- The Movie

I hope they have Confessions of a Shopaholic playing at some odd time like 11pm...I'll go sit and watch it by myself. I've been wanting to see it, but my family would't see that with me!

We'll be watching HM for sure!!! My dd6 will see to that!

Got our cruise docs this morning via UPS.

Thanks for posting the movies. We've avoided paying for recent Disney releases in hopes they'd be free on the ship.

Thanks again for listing the movies. I'm looking forward to seeing Bolt and EARTH!!! I've passed the list on to my family. I just don't think that 3 nights is enough for what we want to do!

Bobbi:goodvibes

OK....I'm going shopping this week-end for the FE!! So exciting!

Went shopping for FE today....found some fun stuff!! We need to finalize a count soon so that we can gather our items.

I've never been on a cruise before, so I really don't know how this all works. Can a more seasoned cruiser advise (ie. Do we do one thing per family, per person, per child (--and then something both adults could use, etc)? If there are no children, this might be different, of course.

Basically you need to have a bag for the family or each child outside your cabin, I would hang it on the metal fish outside the door or you can make a fish extender. People sell them on ebay just search fish extender. What I have done in the past and what it seems like most do is make a little goody bag for each child and then you can make just 1 for the adults. sometimes people only give things to the kids. If someone is doing it without children I normally get them a little extra stuff. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

PS Don't forget your door magnets as well.
