May 21, 2006 4 night Wonder

lilbertrph, ckphilia must be on Spring Break! Or busy trying on her costume. Go back to DCL forum and over to the right it has a place to do a search. You should find your pirate costumes. Also, I think the pirate party is on the 3rd night. It should be the same dining room you were at the previous night. 52 Days!

you may be interested to see the most recent 4 day navigator I've found. It was from Feb.2006 Its at **********************

lilbertrph and 3sons, I'm sorry I took a break and didn't go on the computer went to the movies instead!! LOL AND was shopping for my door signs and pirate stuff sorry! lilbertrph just do what 3sons says or you can go to the dcl and just check pirate costumes people put there pics on line my sister was telling me the people in the pics were the people who worked there! I told her nooo
they are not! Well I made 2 signs for my cabin door on the cruise I just hope they survive the flight! I didn't do them on magnetic paper I did them on foam and glued a magnetic strip on the back! Not too bad if I do say so myself. I would put a picture of them on the website but I don't have a scanner. pirate: :woohoo:  :confused3

lilbertrph, I just found one that was posted yesterday and she has a lot of picts on it!! Go to disney cruise line forum then go to page 2 scroll down and theres a posting that says Post your Pirate Pictures by Aquagirl! Shes got some good pics on there. pirate: pirate:

:wave2: Hello everyone, we will also be going on this cruise. We will be driving down to Orlando on May 11th, staying 9nights then going on the cruise and then staying another 9nights, leaving to go back home on June 3rd. We are sooooo excited  this is our 2nd Disney Cruise :cool1: . I have two sons, 6 & 11, and they are looking forward to meeting other kids on the cruise.

welcome Cdn Castaway!!You're driving from Toronto to Orlando? Wow!

Welcome aboard cdn casaway!!!! Sounds like your are going to have a great time. we are just doing the cruise 1st time  :Pinkbounc

We are also on this cruise. Our first. My family is beyond excited. We booked the first day this cruise was released!! We are celebrating My sons 5th b-day on the 24th. We have a lot of b-day's between May 13 and ending on the 24th.

Travelling are myself, dh, dd (will have just turned 8) and ds (turning 5). My grandmother, mom, aunt, dad and step-mom.

I have searched for threads on our cruise before and never found one.

I have read a few of you mentioning the Palo brunch. Can you share more details and what day you think is the best to reserve?

One other question...My ds turns 5 the day after castaway cay. He really wants to do the stingray excursion there. I am hoping they will let him once we get on board. I tried to sign him up online and I couldnt. What do yall think the chances are?

Torismom, Palo brunch is only available the day we are at sea. I hear it is to die for and you don't have to give up a dinner with the kids to enjoy Palo. I also hear it fills fast because it is only offered one day and some of the dinning tables are moved out to fit the brunch tables. Don't daly - book soon! :)

Have you all received your stateroom assignments yet? I got mine when I booked. On my first cruise, I booked a GTY and can't remember when I got my stateroom assigned. I booked a category 9 this time (which is fine), but I'm really hoping to get upgraded to a veranda. I know it's not likely, but I'm hoping for some pixie dust to come my way.

Yes, we have cat 9 also. Our family of 5 had to have adjoining rooms. I'm sure tht means we are not likely to get an upgrade. It was still $500 cheaper than the Deluxe verandah that would hold 5. I'm glad for the extra space. We are so Excited!  :yay: :yay: :yay:

Got you all beat, cat 12. Can only go up LOL. After 3 other Disney cruises you don't spend much time in your room other than sleeping and changing clothes. :cool1: :rotfl2: pirate:

I think we are category 8.....it's true, you spend the least amount of time in your room. There are so many activities to keep you occupied.

Did anyone, who has been on the cruise before, ever book anything in the spa? My dh and I wanted to book something on the day at sea. Any recommendations?

:cloud9: I can't believe only 41 days left.....all my family talks about is the cruise and the exciting things we are going to do. We are hoping we will see the two gentlemen that waited our tables, Marion and I can't remember the other gentlemans name.......THEY WERE EXCELLENT!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

Oh My Gosh - 41 days!! :sail: I have 10 pounds to loose and alot of details left - like ordering my gift basket for my DS. I too am hoping for a room upgrade - Cat. 9, but my TA requested a cabin that she really liked so I think my chances may not be that good. I checked Disney Cruise and there still seemed to be room in all cabin categories. It's not looking too good for an upgrade.

I'm working on those same ten pounds damiel. they are the hardest to loose. I also noticed all the cabins left. Do you think that means the ship may not be at full capacity by sail date. (I've been reading threads about the pools being crowded.)
For those driving, I've also read threads about I-75 in south GA having a lot of traffic because of construction. We drove that streach of interstate last Sept. and it was bad then.
40 Days :yay: :yay:

My t/a said there are not many cabins left mosly 11s-12s. I tried to find sites that showed the status of cabins with not much luck. Where did you get your info?

We had to book cat 4 due to the fact there are 5 of us going dw, dd12, dd09, dd1 1/2. getting 2 cabins was not an option. Verena will be nice though. I booked this trip back in 12/05 for a christmas present for my family and I only had a choice of 4 cat 4 rooms mid ship the rest were reserved I was told.
