What is the best week to go in May? Conferences, Cheerleading and such?

No empirical facts to back this up, but I think I’d rather go early May. Good weather, most schools still out. Not sure about conferences and such.

We were there May 2015 starting on the 10th for 10 nights. It was perfect for us - kids still mostly in school, weather was in the high 70s, low 80s and crowds were pretty tame that year.

I read a rumor that Toy Story land might be open for memorial day weekend. If that's something you'd be interested in maybe the end of May would be better even though the crowds are going to be a little higher.

I don't know whether to be excited or scared for that rumor. We will be there the week leading up to Memorial Day-leaving the Saturday of. I guess fingers crossed...

We will be there starting the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend so I'm hoping the Toy Story Land rumors are true!!!

I'd rather go in early May just due to the gentler weather. Less heat and rain.

We were there the 2nd week of May this year (6th-11th). Crowds were totally manageable. We didn’t have any rain. I was surprised at how hot it was, though. 90s every day...one day was 95. I admit I did very little weather research before going, however. At least it wasn’t as humid as the summer.
