This might seem like a silly question, but when the deal goes public on Monday, can it be booked online? It seems like everyone keeps referring to "calling" a CM on the Disney number to take advantage of the deal. Can I get on the computer at say, 7am, Monday morning and take advantage of the deal that way or do I HAVE to call?

Yes, just click on special offers at the bottom of Disney's page. If it's listed, you should be able to book online! Good luck!

I saw (I think on mouse savers?) that it's supposed to be just one or the other. I was also told by a CM this morning that it was to be one or another. However, I've seen more reports of people being able to get both than not.

Oh yes! What I was answering was the question of what time calls are started to be answered.

Your welcome! The package deal is nice....but it definitely said you get both for the package...not one OR the other. I notice on here and from my personal experience the first day 50% don't seem to have all the facts so you will get wrong info or even told no discounts available at all.

Yeah, the first time I called in this morning the CM I got said there were no discounts. I hung up and called right back and told the lady that I knew they were out and I wanted to apply it, she was much better.

I want to call in to get it fixed but I'm kinda worried because I was (accidentally? pixie dusted?) given 30% on my moderate this morning. I don't want them to catch it and take it back to 25% lol.

Applied our Disney Visa Rewards discount to our already paid for package reservation and was able to upgrade from the Garden wing at the Contemporary to the Tower-Theme Park View for only $10.20 more! I am happy!

I called back and asked about the package and got it straightened out. But, she might have forgot to cancel my room only reservation, so if that doesn't come off soon, I'll have to call back.

I did get the 20% off All Star Sports and the 7th day tickets free. I'm still waiting for the email I thought she was sending too... I'd like to see the cost break down and also see if I can make a payment online... Can I? If so, where?

Wish the CM explained this to me... She was very nice, but I had a package originally and she couldn't get the room discount to apply to it, so cancelled that and gave me a room only since that's what I was asking for... didn't realize I could get both... Now I want to call back but not sure how to word things.

But, I'll need to decide if saving $40 on the 7th day ticket for 4 of us is worth having to pay 45 days earlier.

There's usually two different codes that the CMs use, one to apply to room only reservations and one to apply to package reservations. It sounds to me like you had an inexperienced CM. She should have been able to apply the appropriate package code to your existing reservation and gotten you both the room discount and the free day on your tickets.

I had this happen once, back when I was a relative newbie to WDW. The CM I was talking with told me I could either book a room only reservation with the room only discount or an undiscounted package. I didn't book with her because I was really torn. I was trying to apply a 40% off PIN but I really wanted the DDP (back when the DDP was a good deal). I hung up, called back a few hours later, and got a CM that knew what he was doing. He booked me a package with the 40% off the room portion.

Yes, payments can be made online on the main Disney World website. After you log into MDE, select "my reservations" from the MDE drop down menu at the top right. Once the new page loads, a link that says "make a payment" should appear beside your remaining balance. I've used it several times in the past 3 weeks.

Room discounts only cover the days included in the discount. You would get it from the 8th thru the 15th.

I have never get an email from my Disney visa I always hear about the discounts here. Every post I've read where people do get email notices says they have got them around 1:00.

They way I figured mine was 25% off the room potion of my package and then I got a little over 10.00 for the extra day ticket per person about 40.00. My travel agent made the call to have the discount applied and it came out to the same as I figured.

It's not a bad one, but I personally would have saved a lot more with free dining or S/P/D. For example, today I saved $375 where free dining would have saved us $930.

As far as your situation goes, be aware that usually the Little Mermaid rooms are excluded from promotions.
