I am looking forward to know about the exact figures for Coronado Spring Resort. According to the most detailed entry (#534) posted here, the actual CSR discount is 25% instead of 30%. I am not too excited about this discount given how inflated the rates are. In May 2013, I had a 9-night stay at CSR (standard room, with 25% discount) + 9-day park ticket with waterparks option = $1865. The same package for the same dates in May 2014, with a 25% discount = $2084. This is a 11.7% increase!

It is 25% for Coronado. I am not sure how I ended up with my 30% for there.

Just got off the phone with Disney Travel and was able to modify our existing reservation. I had initially booked at rack rate and later changed it when I received a pin code (the one and only code that I have received in 16 years of going to Disney). The pin code covered only one week of our trip and saved us $386.03. By changing it from the pin code to the Disney Visa offer, we saved an additional $298.23. Total off rack rate: $684.26!

Travel dates: May 24th to June 7th
Resort: Caribbean Beach
Tickets: 8 day base
Travel Party: Two adults and a 16 year old

No problem! I wasn't sure of the percentages off for the other resorts when I originally posted. I was just letting everyone know what I got to see if we could figure out the tiering. But now I'm seeing that it looks like I got some pixie dust. Sorry for the confusion.

Really hoping this discount is released to the general public! We booked with a Disney travel agent, so I know she'll be on top of it. I'm interested to hear how the discounts work with an existing package reservation. We currently have a 7-night stay booked at the Contemporary (Garden Wing) with 7-day park-hopper and water park tickets and the DDP. Looks like an earlier comment mentioned that the Contemporary is 20% off - was hoping for 30%, but will take 20%! Wondering if the ticket discount works with the hopper/water park tickets. Thanks for the info!

Was able to apply the Visa discount to 5 different resort reservations for our 16 night trip in late April/early May. Total savings of about $2200

The discount was not available for any non-CL rooms at CR over our dates so I decided to switch that reservation to the Poly (crossing fingers that construction won't be too bad).

I called and booked the GF with the 20% discount (was wishing for 30% also), and we also are booked for 7 day PH with WP and DDP and the CM said the package included the 7th day free

Oh man, just got off the phone... And I am officially nuts lol... I have changed to a split stay csr (dd refused to budge, really really wants to stay here with the Mayan theme) for 4 nights and then AKL savannah view for the last 3 nights... Oh then we go to the dark side for 2 nights! Lol. Overall I did not save money... But we get to spend the last 3 nights at a deluxe... So I am happy! If I had not split our stay it would have been a $500 savings... But I think we will only be doing wdw once, since DL is a two hour flight away... So I splurged a little

The current discounts don't do anything for the DDP, right? You just get one park ticket free, not a free day of the dining plan?

free day ticket sounds better than it is. Every little bit helps . For example, we get the 9th day free (so we pay for 8) so,it's a savings of $22 per person. Obviously with a larger family this can add up more quickly. I saved just about $200 for a party of 2, reg DDP , standard room at POP.- which nets to approximately a 6% total savings. I'm happy. Now I just buy Disney gift cards at Target for the remaining balance and I save an additional 5%. Plus since my AAA agent modified the reservation, I am now going to receive a $25 gift card as well. This will cover the few TS meals, apps etc that were beyond the dining plan.

5/14-5/18 Pop Century has a 20% discount
All Stars only 5%

All Star Movies was only 5%, but I got 20% on All Star Sports. Didn't ask about All Star Music.

I bet the $22 dollars I was referring to was for both of us since I already had 2 adults listed when I priced it out. I guess every little bit helps though. Kind of think of it as a free Memory Maker...

The next round of room discounts is now available to Disney Visa holders, and will open to the public on January 6th.

The discount covers the following dates:
February 24 - March 5
March 14 - April 12
April 20 - June 15

There are various discounts depending on resort and room type, here are some examples:

Value Resorts - 20%
All Star Movies - 5%
Art of Animation suites 15%

Moderate Resorts 25%.
French Quarter - 5%

30% Deluxe Resorts
Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Club Level at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge - 20%.

As an interesting twist, if you also purchase a four-day ticket, you'll get an extra day for free!!!
