Sill no luck for MAy 27th -June2nd and dropping off at Cape Canveral. the prices are unreal. I'm even willing to do 2 small cars and scratch the minivan idea. But still nothing to write home about.

I looked at dropping off at the CCC and taking ME back to the airport and it put my total up over 100 dollars more. So I decided to stick with the rental to and from MCO. I am sure you could get it lower if you used MCO for the car rental, but then you are giving up ME, which can be a toss up.
I'll keep my eye out for you though.

Just booked at CCC for $176 total for my dates. Used code 299851 and the $35 AA coupon. I have to go join AA now. Has anyone had any issues or experience using this code?

If anyone flies with Wesjet they offer a special discount on the car rental rates and a choice of either a free upgrade or a free day with Alamo. Using the discount code and getting the free day, we paid $158.00 for a 10 day rental.

Just a few days before we got that price we booked the car for $338.00. My advice, check everyday because the prices do fluctuate on a daily basis, it's crazy but it will save you money.

Looks like Alamo is running a special on mini-vans the begining of May. I just booked a mini-van from 5/5 to 5/12 using my insiders id and the AA coupon code. Total was $195 with all the taxes. It was cheaper than their compact rate.

Yes, both National and Alamo have been listing their larger vehicles cheaper than their smaller ones. We leave this week and snagged a minivan for a great price too. I'm guessing it has to do with the price of gas. I'm just happy to have a guaranteed minivan for my trip!

So far my best was $266 - off to cancel that one.

I've been watching this thread and checking the Alamo site multiple times daily. My rate has remained constant with no fluctuation whatsoever. Is this because we're renting from the Car Care Center as opposed to the airport? I currently have a Standard with double upgrade using the KLM code (National) for $241.00 May 1-7. Do you think I'll be able to do any better than this?

Minivans have gone back up for my dates and the full-size went down. So.. I have a ressie for 235 for a minivan for 10 days or a ressie for a full size for 125.

Decisions decisions.

Justed booked a Full size thru dollar at MCO for $150 total for 8 days. I still have various cars booked thru DTD area and CCC from $176 thru $235 for a 7 day rental. I had to do a double take at Dollars rates they were so low compared to what I have been seeing.

I have to decide if I want to use MME or not. Any thoughts? I have been various times and have never used MME.

Does anyone know if I will hit toll roads from MCO to Disney?

Will I hit tolls from Disney to Seaworld?

Best I had up until today was a Chevy Impala for $275.
Wasn't going to be enough room and new we'd get somethign better.
Pays to wait every year.

Can anyone tell me .... when you use a coupon code does it come off at the end? When I price with my ID corp and coupon, the price is the same as without coupon. When I called to ask they said that the coupon has already been taken off....when I explain that the price is the same with or without the coupon code they then say I cant use an ID code and coupon, but I can use up to 3 coupons on the same rental???????? This was the actual airport location that told me this????
