That is great to hear! I was kind of nervous because I saw that it was an American Airlines coupon code? But we always use the kiosks there so I didn't want to run into trouble at the airport and get in trouble from my parents haha.

Finally got a good rate on a standard size from Alamo of $113 for 9 days 5/3-5/12 using Costco code and $35 off coupon. From what I understand there is no standard size at MCO so we will get to choose from the full size aisle - they list a Ford Fusion or similar as standard which I'd be happy with.

I originally booked Monday night with the same codes and size for $185, then it dropped to $150 yesterday morning, $122 in the early evening and $113 late last night - crazy!! I was starting to think we would have to use DME and disney buses because up until Monday the cheapest I could find was over $300 and I refuse to pay that much. I was really hoping to try out my new Executive status with National but the mid-size rates are around $350 for my dates with them!! If anybody has found a good rate with National for my dates I'd love to hear the details!

I just reserved a standard from alamo for 5/18-5/23 for $83.92 using my insiders and bjs coupons. That's the lowest I've seen for my dates. So excited!

My price to beat is $242 for minivan 12 days.

A previous poster mentioned being able to use multiple coupons, does anyone know how to do that. I just received a coupon code for my birthday for a free day and was hoping to add it along with the Trevelocity Coupon...but I can't figure out how to do it.

You cannot stack coupons. You can use a code and a coupon,but, not multiple codes or coupons.

I just got a great rate for my dates, 5/12 - 18, with Enterprise through Costco. I got an intermediate car, with an upgrade to a standard car for $104, taxes included. This is by far the lowest I've seen, and I've been looking for a few months now. Finally rates for my days have come down.

Just looked at Hotwire for my May 20-26 dates and saw a $242 total minivan special for Dollar or Thrifty. I went to Dollar's website and based on a tip from Mousesavers, I enter no codes/coupons and then selected a special box that popped up for city specials. I ended up booking for $165.46... $227 incl taxes/fees in terminal. I'll cancel my $299 total Budget and continue watching for further reductions.


Anyone ever have issues with Dollar at MCO?

Anyone here know what is usually available in the compact aisle at Alamo? Just booked one for a great rate for 12 days!!!! ($110.28!!!) Just 2 adults not a lot of luggage and I drive a Civic at home so I should be comfortable with whatever they have.

I just booked a minivan at Alamo for one week from May 19-26 picking up and dropping off at 6PM for $184.53 total!

I used the Amex Code (7014291) and $35 off coupon (AD2359FDF).

The minivan was actually the cheapest rate using these codes.

I'm in the same boat as you - my dates are 5/3-5/12 and getting really high rates as well. I don't know what is going on with that week but it seems to be so much higher than dates before and after!

we booked at EZ and Dollar for about $200 for the 10 days for a standard. I keep hoping something good will come up at National or Alamo, I don't know how people are getting these low rates?

can you guys please share your exact codes and exact coupons? whatever I put in is coming up around $400

I know there is some dance festival one of those weekends- maybe that is it?

The Costco codes for late May dramatically dropped this afternoon too! $103 for a week, and $130 for 8 days - midsize. Best yet!!! Same rate for a full size too.

I tried the PP's codes, and Costco's rates were a little better.

Multiple times a day I check the rates of Dollar, National, Alamo and Car Rental Savers and so far nothing but ridiculous pricing!

I rented a car at the Sanford Alamo at the end of March for 4 days and my rate was $153 and I complained then that I didn't want to buy the car I just wanted to rent it. Little did I know that that was actually going to be a good deal.

If there are any other SFB renters who are getting better rates let me know. I have a Budget reservation for $191 and maybe a $25 coupon that I'm not sure will work with my code, but I've never used them before...

Have you tried looking offsite around Sanford? When we thought we were flying into Lakeland it was much cheaper to go in to town to get a car than it was to get it directly from the airport since they pretty much have you captive at whatever price they want.
It is less convenient to take a taxi to the rental place but might save you quite a bit.

Which AA program should we join to get the coupon?

It looks like most here are traveling into MCO but we are going to THE LAND in a few weeks! I just got an awesome deal using the Costco code (I am a member) and the AA coupon. I reserved a Jeep Grand Cherokee for 6 days for $129.31 at the Orange County airport!

It's called the AA Frequent Flyers Advantage program. You will be able to print out a copy of your card with the membership number on it.
