Hi Everyone :) Currently pricing up Disney for next year :cool1: Looking at the free Dining for May 2011 so would be looking at going for the last 2wk's of the offer, but having never done onsite or free dining, I would love some advice from you all please :flower3:

I have only ever done onsite. I am familiar with the dining plans but this is the first time we are going when it is free. However whether free or not makes no difference to the way you use it. First we are going to want to extract some information out of you :rotfl2:

How many people are you, do you have children (I am guessing by your avatar that you do) and do you have your eye on any of the onsite resorts yet?

Hi, there's my DH & I and then our 2 DD's who will be 12 and 10!, we usually stay in a villa as my parent's normally come with us, but this time it will just be the 4 of us! Have been looking at OKW and Saratoga, but not really sure??

Thanks :thumbsup2

OKW and SSR would get you the regular DDP (moderate resorts offer free QSDP, which can be upgraded for the difference in price to the regular plan).

What you need to consider is whether you are happy to work your itinerary around your ADRs and plan them so you can book your restaurants 6 months ahead.

SSR and OKW have been offering 42% off in conjuction with the FD offer which is a bonus. If you are used to a villa, although the studio at these resorts will still have you in one room, there is more space than what you would have at the mods. I don't know if the discount is offered over your dates so you might want to do a quick price up and see how it looks. Since your children are over 9 years, they would get the regular adult entitlements for dining which is a bonus for you during free dining. No way would I pay that for a child that age, but free is great. :thumbsup2 Just so you know, they CAN still use their credits for a child's meal if they so wish, so they are not stuck if they prefer kids choices.
