May 2010, let's countdown together!

We are going (Myself, DW, & DS 4) May 23rd - 28th and we're staying @ POR. This will be our 1st trip and we are so excited!!!:goodvibes Usually do our vacations in Oct & it's been cruises but we our kind of burned out on the cruise thing. Our son starts school this fall so we had to change our schedule.

I'm in, new to thread....We will be traveling May 26-May 31, staying at Wilderness Lodge!

We will be stating at Port Orleans Riverside May 17-22 for my son's 3rd bday! So excited!!!!!! First trip in 10 years!:cool1:

I'm also new to the boards. We're arriving 4/29 and staying until 5/5. Have the air and rental car booked but no resort yet - haha! Am hoping to buy points from DVC member on the other boards. Anyway, so so so excited!!! I love Disney In April!!! :cool1::yay::woohoo:

May 5-10 and May 6 is my birthday! I can't wait to walk around the MK with that big button on that says it's my birthday!

We're going for a short stay at AKV Kidani May 24-26 as an add-on to our Universal trip. Hope to see some of you there.:goodvibes

Soooo ... my parents (who've blessed me with Disney trips every few years since age 9) are up to their Disney magic once again!! Dad's health hasn't been so stable for a while - and now he's had a really good upturn and they want to take "the whole gang" for one last exciting trip. We've grown from Mom, Dad, Me, and younger brother growing up ... to now Grandma (formerly known as Mom), Grandpa (yep, Dad), Me & my Triplets (two boys & a girl) and my brother, his wife, and their 5 children (including twins as their youngest girls ... yep, we're multiple like that).

Kaboom ... suddenly Disney looms May 15th thru the 21st ... Port Orleans French Quarter is my guess (though mom says it's a surprise ... shhh ... I saw one of the confirmations).

Hope to see some of you there :grouphug:

Where are you in your planning? I received my books that I am going to try to read during the trip. I was going to put them in my carry-on bag so that I know where they are when we are ready to go, but thought my wife would make fun of me for packing two months in advance.

:) I want to pack now too!

I'm planned about as much as I can be. Dining reservations made, daily itinerary set, grocery list made, list of things to bring is made. Oh.....actually I need to call for a babysitting reservation. That may be the last thing I need to do. I want to go, like right now!!

All of our planning is done. I'm going to try at 45 days to get a better Le Cellier ressie, but other than that we're all set!

We are going the 16-24th....am wondering about the crowds them. I thought they would be low because it is just before kids get out of school so didn't think many would be pulling them out. Is first star wars weekend though...is that really crazy???

We'll be there too! May 3-11 at the BC !:thumbsup2
Celebrating our 16th anniversary! WOOHOOOO! Can't wait for May!:dance3:

Hmmm...I haven't posted here yet!

We'll be there May 24-June 2 at WL celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary :)

Does anyone know of any photopass shares that are open for May? Would love to get into one! :)

We'll be there May 28 - June 5!!!! Only 80 more days!!! We're trying CBR for the first time - pirate room! Can't wait!!!

I'm going to WDW in May also--May 26-June 1 at Contemporary. :cool1:This will be my 1st trip since my High School Senior class trip almost 20 years ago. Excited since this will be my husbands 1st trip and my 4 yr old sons 1st trip.

Until I came to this board, I did not realize how much planning went into Disney. Has anyone ever been to Disney with no pre-planning? If so, please let me know how it went.
