What a disappointment with your server! I had a similar experience when I went back in 2007. Maybe it was the same guy.

OMG those mashed potatoes look SO GOOD!!! Also, my family didn't like WCC because we were seated all the way in the back, 3 out of the 4 of us did not like our meal AT ALL. Our server was terrible and slow, even though it appeared she only had two or three tables. We saw the "fun" going on around us and our server said "Oh yea. Did you need a refill or straw?" Like, after we saw what happened at the next table. It was just an all around bad experience. I see they have since changed their menu a bit and I am sure if I was seated with a good server it would be different. I'm just glad to see you liked it because that means maybe I will give it another chance!

aw you were seated in that awful back room. no fun! we always request the main room after we saw how secluded the back was. I dont even know why they have tables back there!

Crystal Palace Dinner

We usually eat here because its convenient (MK) and DH loves buffets. I didn't take any pis during this meal, I wasn't feeling good. I think I got dehydrated earlier in the day.

We got there and had to wait about 15 minutes, this place is ALWAYS packed! we were seated on the left over by a window. Our waitress was nice, but slow. But they always have so many tables tow ait on it seems they are always slow here!

The food was good as always, although DH still holds a grudge that they got rid of the prime rib! Everyone enjoyed, and we took some pics with characters. This was I would say an average meal. not OH MY GOSH delicious, but still good. We love the setting, all the light that comes in through the windows.

Love your reviews...can't wait to read more! I must be behind on the times here...is it true the Prime Rib is no longer on the Crystal Palace Buffet? If so, that totally changes my plans for dining in December...it's one of the things I love about that buffet!

bummer huh? there was a thread awhile back about this..I *think* they took it off all the buffets alst year. maybe try searching for the thread? it definately wasnt there in May or july when we went.

Grand Floridian Cafe Lunch

We knew we were going to be lounging at the pool/hotel this day so we didn't want to go far for lunch so we had planned on the GF cafe. we love how relaxed it is here, and bright and pretty!

we were seated right as you go in on the right by the window.
for appetizers we got the crab cakes and some kind of shrimp appetizer

I didn't eat either, but bobby said the crab cakes were better than the shrimp.

for entrees I got the new york strip and bobby got the burger. the steak was CHARRED like, burnt to a crisp on the outside. but the mashed potatos were fabulous! bobby liked his burger well enough.

for dessert I got the mini tiramasu, and so did bobby, it was super good! we really liked it.

other than the steak being burnt the meal was good but the service was SLOW. and they weren't even busy, so I don't know what the deal was. we have had better meals here.

Coral Reef Dinner

this was our last dinner with all 6 of us together.
we were seated on the second level, against the half wall overlooking the aquarium.

Our server served well, she just disnt have any personality. luckily we were having such a good time it wasn't that big of a deal.

for appetizers we got the sea and land for two. it is excellent! highly reccommended

for entrees DH got the mahi mahi and I got the steak.
the steak was good, but not near as good as Narcoosseesm but better than GF cafe. DH enjoyed his fish as well.

also ordered the lava smoothie as our dining plan drink, SO GOOD!

for dessert I got the chocolate wave which was amazing as always and so did DH. someone else got the mousse and something else I can't remember what it was.

I was so full I couldn't finish my dessert and what i wouldn't do not to have those last bites back!

all in all good meal, food good, service decent (has been better) good times were had by all. Oh yeah, except for the lady breastfeeding at the table with no covering/blanket. a blanket is all I am asking for!!!

Great review and pics! Yeah, she should have used a blanket. I personally would not have felt comfortable at all bfing at a restaurant without covering up. I don't even like to do it covered up! Too self conscious.

Grand Floridian Cafe

We had gone back to the pool that day and I didn't feel like wasting time sititng at a TS restaurant when I could be in the SUN. so I sent Bobby and my dad to eat at the GF Cafe for lunch and me and my mom ate at gasparillas and laid at the pool. I have no pics of course (can you imagine the two boys at the table taking pics of food? ) but I do have what they ordered

Citricos Dinner

I was excited for this meal! it was just me and DH, and my parents for this one.


for appetizers we had the
Gateau of Crab
sauteed shrimp appetizer
and he gave us a free appetizer called amuse bouche (which I thought was gross!) here are pics

Bobby really liked teh appetizers, they were all gone!

for entrees I got the steak of course and bobby got the veal shank. he said it was excellent, and my steak was very good. not QUITE as good as narcoossees steak, but its up there. and the mashed potatoes were yummy!

my mom had one bite left and our funny server put it in a to go box and put "heat on high for 1 second" on the box. it was too funny!

for dessert we both got the chocolate banana tort. SO YUMMY. love it. and they decorated the one my parents got for their anniversary.

this was a very nice relaxing meal, and we really enjoyed it. it was a great last night meal for my parents. they liked having a nice place to eat that they didn't know about and had never been to before! I am sure we will all be back!

Yak and Yeti lunch

we enjoy eating here for something different. it seems I have steak everyday which, while fabulous, gets a little old, so this place mixes it up for us!

we walked up a little early for our ressie and were seated right away, in that room off to the left we were seated in last time. it. was. freezing. I recalled this from last yea and had a jacket, but it was still SO COLD. I had to get up THREE times during the meal and go stand outside in the sun for a few minutes because I was so cold and just couldn't take it. it was that bad!

we both ordered sprite
and for appetizer we got seared ahi tuna
and pot stickers

DH said they were good. he didn't like the tuna as much as the pot stickers.

for enterees I got the honey chicken which was yummy
the rice is super good, too

DH got the steak and shrimp and said the steak part was excellent, the other parts were just "good"

for dessert we shared the brownie sundae

after the dessert I defiantely had to go stand outside! service was average, food was good, restaurant was FREEZING! if we go back I may have to put a pair of pants in my bag!!!

Thanks for the Y&Y review. We are planning to stop there for lunch one day on our trip later this month and I've been eyeballing the ahi tuna for an appetizer - it looks really good, as do the potstickers (and I don't even like potstickers!).
