Who else is going to be going May 11th to the 18th? I have already booked at the BWV. My DH and I will be doing a little belated 25th anniv. celebration (April) plus the other couple with us will be doing an early 1st anniv. (June). Hopefully my mother will be with us to celeb. Mother's Day with us. My father past away on July 6th so it is a little early to be asking if she would like to go with us. I am going to wait a few months before asking her. Also I am hoping my DS and BIL will also join us. I have booked a 2br. sv. Can't wait!! Has anybody gone Mother's Day week before? How are the crowds and is the park open later that week?

We will be at OKW from May 18-26. We were there this past Mothers Day. the crowds were'nt to bad. Epcot is a great place to spend Mthers Day they had places where Mom was given a flaower and could have a picture taken, we had dinner at Food Amoung the Flowers.

:) :earsgirl: :earsboy:

My Mom and I have done Mother's Day at OKW the past 2 years. We arrived the Saturday before Mother's Day and stayed until Friday. Crowds were not bad either year. Weather was hot - low 90's but not real humd, no rain either year. We did the picture at Epcot in the morning and had dinner at the castle (her favorite). Next year we'll probably do the week before so that she can use the AP she bought this year on May 12 (I bought mine in Feb).

We'll be there May 11-17 at BWV (supposed to be 18 but wanted to use One Pass miles for flights). I didn't even realize it was Mother's Day. As of right now my son and his girlfriend with be joining us. Can't wait!

We were there over Mother's Day this year, May 10-16. Stayed the first three nights at AKL and the last three nights at VWL, our first stay there as DVC members. We had a wonderful time. The crowds were light, the weather was perfect, no rain, and we spent Mother's Day in Epcot. We'll be going again next May 4-11 so we can take advantage of the AP's we bought this year.

Hi,
We will be at BWV 11th-15th May after our 7 night cruise.
Counting down the days.
We had almost 3 weeks there in May this year and the parks were pretty quiet and the weather was great only 2 hours of rain the whole time.Believe me when you live in the UK the weather is very important!!!
Mick.

Hey teresanj we'll be there then too.
We too went the same time this year and want to use our AP's thus the reason for going the week before.

Staying at VWL unless we can get into BWV. Not our home but we'll see.

We went to MGM on Mothers Day. They were giving Mothers corsages.

We are there also. We are at OKW in a GV. Taking the whole family and some friends. I didn't know it was Mothers Day. That will be very nice to have my children together with me on Mothers Day. We are there the 11th through the 17th.

We were at Magic Kingdom this past Mother's Day and got a corsage. It was a fun way to spend time with the kids. The crowds were very light. The only problem was that it was a very hot week - 90 degree weather. I'm not complaining as the snow in the midwest in the winter is worse! Animal Kingdom was open till 5:00 and the others were open till 8 or 9 pm.

We have ressies for BWV in 2002 during the same time that you are there.

Hope you have a great time! Maybe we'll see you there!

NJ, so sorry about your father. I hope you and your family have a great time at WDW next May.

We made our airline ressies last night. RT from Philly to Orlando USAir for $195.50 ea. And the count down starts. Hope to see all of you there! (Even though we never get to meet any other Dis DVC'ers) LOL. :jester:
