We just booked a reservation, due to the $500 free gift card and APs expiring in May, and have booked a few dinner/lunch reservation. Yesterday I tried to book a couple more (and not at the most sought after places) and nothing was open at any time. Sometimes I wonder, I tried to book the Hoop d do for any night of that timeframe for the 9:30 and was told nothing was available. I then asked the same CM to book the behind the scenes Train Tour and he had to transfer me. When I got to the new CM for the Train I just happened to mention that I couldn't book any night for any time and she checked and any night, any time was available. Sometimes I wonder when a CM checks for reservations, I can't imagine that all restaurants are booked for all times during a timeframe of no free dining. By the way the first group of reservations that all were available were with the same CM that booked the train and hoopde do. I just don't think the dining resevations are all booked up. I think I have reached a few CMs that just don't want to be bothered. This didn't even happen last year when we changed our reservation to the Disney Visa free dining just a week or two before our arrival and we were able to book many TS (even though it was the FD timeframe (end of Sept) already.

I just booked alast minute trip april 27-May 2nd and called dining 3 x and 6 different restaurants had no availability for any meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner0 for the ENTIRE week. I got a great cast member the last time who booked a few other choices for me and when i explained my earlier luck she said to please let her check the week for those 6 restaurants and sure enough No availability. i really believe it is going to be a very busy spring at WDW.

Yes, we had some challenges getting our first or second choices. We have decided to just get what we can and counter service the rest of our April trip. The quick trip in March was really tough - nothing was available.

I don't know what's up since on Sunday when I called I got pretty much everyplace and time I wanted. I tried to get a few yesterday and nothing. One thing I did do since one of the days that I was still looking to book my husband wanted to go to Raglan Road at night for the bar, I called the restraurant itself and booked the time I wanted. The CM I had that I spoke about that told me there were no openings for the HDD was also very nice and told me all about the Train Tour that he transferred me to the other CM that found HDD every night and time. I hope it's not that crowded when we go. It doesn't make much sense with all schools still in session. We were there last May from the 15th to the 22nd and not too bad!

Hmmm... I have been making ADR's for Apr 28-May 4 and haven't been having much trouble. I just added one for 50's Prime Time Cafe on Apr 30, Kona Cafe on May 1 and changed Biergarten from May 1 to the 3rd. All with no problem. The only ones I've been having issues with are ones that have charecters... even though I'm not interested in the charecters as much as the food.
