There is no set amount, in the past the least we have gotten was 2 Rocket Pops, the most was a bag of assorted hard candies from England that had about 25 pieces in it. We've given out bags of 12 salt water taffy sticks. We've gotten an assortment of about 10 Goetz candies from the Baltimore area, Carmel cream and others.

Can I give unwrapped candy in snack size ziplock bags? The big thing in my area is Belly Flops (deformed jelly bellies/too small, to big, not shaped right). We live near the jelly belly factory. They only come in big bags. I was thinking on dividing the bag into 10 little small bags or so?

I did that last week but havn't heard anything. Do I need to do anything else or just wait? I want to get started on our gifts soon!

I'm working on a costume, to be like the redhead from the potc ride. DH has a Jack Sparrow costume that he made for the last cruise by going to the goodwill and ripping the arms off of a jacket...sadly we had enough pirate gear to pretty much totally outfit him other than that, lol!

I wish I had taken a photo of the before, I took a dress from the goodwill and am taking it apart and remaking it, the bodice will be made from an old fitted T...trying to make things easier on myself

Anyway I was just curious how many other cruisers will be in costume

For DS I think I'll just put him in a cute pirate themed outfit, since he's very picky about hats and scratchy things and he'll just be 2 when we sail.

I think the candies should be wrapped by the factory.

I'm not doing the candy exchange due to luggage restrictions but I will say that I have seen belly flops in small bags at my local grocery and dollar store, when I say small bags I mean they are about 99 cents for I'd guess a couple of ounces. Perhaps the op could get those?

Nope no costumes here either. Not enough room in luggage and I have never liked dressing up pretending to be something I am not. I think I was the only kid growing up who thought Halloween was completely stupid. I never understood it. Guess that's why I am not a actor. Anyway I do have a really cool DCL shirt from the artist Shag I picked up at Disneyland. It's got a boy dressed as a pirate so I just wear that.

If you signed up on the google doc form you are in. The last FE group has not been sent out yet. There will be a cutoff date very soon, and then the list will be sent out. Sara Dean is in charge of it (you can message her via the Facebook group page, link in first comment). Each group has about 20 cabins in them. There is a lot more information on the Facebook group page about the FE's (lots of discussions). Hope that helps!
