May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

I'm really looking forward to this cruise! Take a look at our forecast in Michigan for the next few days:

From the national weather service online:

Sunday Night: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 2am. Low around 30. East northeast wind between 14 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Monday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a north northwest wind around 21 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Monday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy and blustery, with a low around 27.

Tuesday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26.

So....In total we have 4-8 inches of accumulating snow coming in APRIL!!! :headache:This is ridiculous!

I'm just going to imagine myself in my nice warm cabin with a window:).

Thank you Laura for the FANTASTIC bracelets and the wonderful magnet!!! :) That was so kind of you to do this for us. My family is getting so excited and are my boys are counting our days with a construction paper link chain. :woohoo:

Yes. Thank you for the bracelets and magnet. :worship::worship::worship:

I sent you a PM, but I wanted to thank you in "public".:woohoo: :thumbsup2 :flower3:

Hey Everyone,

I need one more post before I can PM.

I found out that my friend's daughter goes to preschool with another Magic MAYniac!! It is a small world afterall.

Laura-Thank you so much for the bracelets and the magnet...I hung the magnet on the fridge next to my countdown! You did a great job selecting the bracelets, and I can't wait to wear mine!! woohoo!!:woohoo:

Sounds like the postal service is doing a good job today! We, too, received our bracelets and a cute magnet in today's mail. Thank you so very much, Laura! They are really great looking and I may just start wearing mine to make everyone at work jealous!!

Aww, Michelle, I'm so sorry about your snow. Hope it passes quickly and everything warms up for you!

Hey Everyone!

Glad to hear that everyone is already receiving their bracelets!:cool1::thumbsup2 Thanks, and so glad that everyone is happy with both their magnet and their bracelet!!:goodvibes

Hi everyone !

We just got our cabin number and I am not impressed by our travel agent. I specifically told her that we wanted cat 8, but I guessed that she decided that she was booking us in cat 9. I just found out when I retreived my file and our cabin number was assigned... I just e-mail her and she said that she was sure that she told me it was cat 9. and that she was really sorry :rolleyes1 Well, anyway, we are in cabin 2510 on deck 2. I was excited, but right now I am just so mad .... I'll be fine by tonight, it's the weekend after all :wave2:

Hi Neighbor!! We will be next door in 2512 :) I'm sorry to hear about the category mixup, sounds like a lousy TA. Per the stateroom reports on the DIS, rooms in that area have decent reviews so hopefully we will have good luck with our rooms.

Hi Neighbor ! Nice to meet you ! :flower3: I am quite happy now that we are in cat 9, because most of us are on deck 2. I am glad I will know a few people on the cruise beforehand. Thanks for saying hello ! I will be seing you in a few weeks !! Woo Hoo !!!:woohoo:

Hi Laura, Emilie got the package on Friday. When she opened it, she got so excited! Thank you so much for sending it and for sending it to her. It was a very special way to help her get (even more) excited about the trip. :)

The mail must run a little slow in my town. I'll probably get the package tomorrow. popcorn::

We just got back from visiting my mom in Jacksonville. She was released from the hospital Friday - the doctors got her excess fluid under control. She is back to status quo.

Full steam ahead - we cruise in just 27 days. :sail:

PS: I finally purchased 2 clear-plastic over-the-door shoe holders last week; one for our in-laws and one for my family. The cheapest one was $7 and has 22 pockets.

Zerog-I'm so glad to hear your good news about your Mom! Hopefully she'll feel back to normal very soon.:goodvibes
Also, thank you for reminding me to go get a organizer! I knew there was something I was forgetting.
I've been very busy the last week tending to a Mother dog and her 9 pups. I volunteer with a local animal group and she's been a delight to care for. She came to me when her pups were just 2 days old, and they are as cute as can be:love:
Now that they've settled in a bit, it's back to getting ready for the cruise!:woohoo:
Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!

Zerog.......glad to hear that your Mom is doing so much better!!! I bet it is a real relief to have her feeling better. :goodvibes:goodvibes

I can't remember what I paid for my organizer, I think it was 5.99, it has been hiding under our bed for at least a year. :rotfl:

It's on my "to do" list.
Is one enough for both Emilie and me? How many pockets? I saw some with lots of little pockets and some with just a few big pockets.

Hi Pinkie
Our new shoe holder has 42 pockets, but that was probably not necessary. Last cruise we purchased the one with 22 pockets which was plenty. :cool2:

Congratulations the wedding! Jimmy and I took our first Disney Cruise after we got married. "We" had two little ones at the time. This was our family honeymoon!:-)

Hey Zerog,

I know that you had posted before about tipping....could you post it again, please?

Thanks!:goodvibes

Snowing in Ohio! Yikes! This is awful. Also worrying about my brother an his family...they left Saturday night for Italy. Worried about the earthquakes. Prayers to everyone in Italy...
