Would love some positive thoughts for tomorrow please. Have had a lump on my neck for a month, am having an ultrasound scan on it tomorrow. Hopefully it will be nothing to worry about, but am terrified, and my brain keeps running away with me.

Consequently I am slightly worried about all my plans, as don't currently have travel insurance (was waiting to take it out after my second bladder operation, which is next week, as thought it would be easier to get that out the way). Won't find out results til after paid in full date............

Anyway, nothing I can do now, and fingers crossed it will be nothing. Some positive vibes would be much appreciated though. :)

Oh so sorry. I've been there, lots of tests, etc. this year. I also had a lump in my thyroid, it had some blood in it and was firm so there was some worry but it came back benign, I'll get another test in a couple months.

It's really hard not to worry but you'll be okay. I have prayed and prayed throughout my tough year of illness and I can tell you from experience that God is listening. Say some prayers and then trust that He will heal you.

Also, there are some incredible documentaries on food, such as "Food Matters" and "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". Take a look, you'll feel so much more empowered that through good nutrition and supplements your body can heal itself. I take great supplements and sometimes I eat really well ( wish I did a better job on the latter ) and I am getting much better.

Can you still take out insurance? Try to, it's worth the peace of mind.

I will say a prayer for you.:grouphug::flower3:

The boys love being twins, too. It really is a cool thing. We found out super early (6 weeks), so after I almost fell off the table in shock, I had plenty of time to wrap my brain around it (plus having two kids doing somersaults in there helped cement the idea haha).

That is so amazing that their BFFs are also twins! Wow. The boys are really shy at first, so they will probably start asking questions around day 13, just in time to say "goodbye" haha.

******************
On another note, I asked them separately if they wanted to do the campout, and they said "no". When I asked why, they both said "because I wanna sleep with you!" Man, I hope they change their minds about that before they turn 18 haha.
I told my husband the night before we found out that I thought we should have two boy names and two girl names "just in case." I just had this weird feeling. Then we found out the next day and my husband almost fell over and said, "She said last night she thought it was twins :scared1:" It's the only psychic moment of my life :rotfl:

Maybe my girls can convince your boys to try it!

Wait, I'm confused. You can only coordinate one activity? What if nobody else wants to do it?

Can we vote on that? Or make a time limit on when someone needs to sign up for it before someone already doing stuff can do it?

Listen, I'll be honest, I won't sign up for doing anything. I'm just not that together. But I love when folks that are good at that stuff, and ENJOY that stuff, take it on. I appreciate it immensely.

I'd love to partake of lanyards, and will happily chip in, and shirts and meet ups. I just suck at trying to get that stuff together.

This was shared back in the summer (see this page where I had previously volunteered here) but maybe it has changed and I missed that along the way somewhere. I ended up just going out on a limb and coordinating a group rate for a hotel for Tremont in Galveston and a pre-cruise meetup at the Rooftop Bar that Friday night at 7:00 - both completely unofficial and non-DIS related. Hopefully any remaining activities that need to be coordinated can get volunteers soon, and I think Binkytell has put together a list (she started contacting some to see if they were still onboard).

I don't know how to attach a PDF if someone does HELP!! or I can email them to you!

I will PM you if that's OK, I am not sure how to attach a PDF to a thread - hopefully somebody will ?

you can't - so don't feel like you have missed something! You have to upload it to a photo server of some sort. (photobucket, flickr, or any other one) and put a link to it in your post.

I got the dates that Steven posted - you have them right Mandy - with one addition of 5/19. He doesn't have that date - however, I think you have it right. In my experience DCL usually does formal night on the second night of the cruise.

Give Val and Bob a bit - they are around. Sometimes life gets in the way of planning. I figure they will put in an appearance soon as the PIF date is right around the corner. (Literally!!! 2 days, right?)

If they have dropped out of sight completely by the time we hit 200 pages, maybe we should just designate someone to start the next thread and begin the info page as well. (Just a suggestion!)

Sunday 5/19 is correct for the first Formal Night. I called the shoreside concierge to get the information since the original post disappeared from FB.

Sounds great!

Can't believe PIF date almost is here! :thumbsup2

:worship: Thank you for doing that!

The lines are busy today... I had to call WDW for a client's reservation and was on hold for 45 minutes before I could talk to someone. They told me to give it 4-5 hours before the email is sent from that as they have been swamped today.

Ok i found info about the trainride thru the Alps.

It takes some time and it;'s expensive but it should be very beautiful.
The route is Barcelona - Montpellier (4.42pm - 9.14pm about €60 per adult)
Overnight stay at Montpellier
Montpellier - Geneve (between 4 and 5 hours about €70 per adult)
Overnight stay at Geneve
Geneve - Amsterdam (around 8 hours about €100 per adult)
This itinerary is the only one where you do drive thru the day (so you realy can see the Alps).

Here are the websites you need to go to to book this:
Barcelona - Montpellier

click on this route: España - Francia
Trayecto: Lorca - Montpellier

No problem. :) All of the dates you had in your earlier post were absolutely correct.

I guess the second Formal Night is not the norm because the fella I talked to seemed very surprised that there was a second one. I think our 2007 WBTA had a second Semi-formal night.

ok - I have been playing with the information that BinkyTell provided (Thank you SO much!!)

I have created a spreadsheet of the names and I THINK I have it right... I could post the spread sheet on a linked page -but this is BinkyTells list and I will not interfere in how she is running it.

so the totals are:

total adults:67
total adult women: 34 - I am missing two people (Kris3kid - not sure of gender)
total adult men: 33 - I am missing two people (Kris3kid - not sure of gender)

total children: 27
total girls: 17
total boys: 10

please, reread this and check my info!! We are giving gifts to each cabin, but are thinking about adding special items for kids (we don't have kids, but think they should enjoy the gifts!!)

I am SO sorry if this has been discussed before, I may have even asked it myself! How many formal nights and semi formal nights can we expect on this cruise. I need to get a trip planning notebook like the awesome Mandygirl :)

Heather, thanks so much for sending those Navigators over, I have received them - I am just going to wait until tomorrow to look at them as my DB is away on business tonight!

It looks lonely for us to be the only ones on this list for the early dining option. Hopefully, somebody will join us! :)

you have to do what works for your family:thumbsup2
im sure there will be others along

Which part of Scotland are you and your DH from? My mom is from Dunfermline, Fife so I am not too bad with the accents considering I'm half Scottish :)

we are in paisley, the other side but im originally from middlesbrough, been up here 20+ years now though
