I can attest that the fireworks from the inaugural EBTA In Barcelona were the best I have ever scene. We video taped it but it does not do justice to the actual event.

We're in. We just got this cruise booked through Tracey at Dreams. :cool1:
Getting ready for Podcast 3.0 and looking forward to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary next year aboard the ship.

Based on the input I have gotten, I have sent a message to the shirt company asking if we can change the design format of the shirts and make them less busy and hawaiian shirtish. I don't know if they can do this nor do I know if there would be a change in the pricing.

I've asked that a 6 inch border be placed all around the shirt hem. With a mono-chromatic pattern of the DCL logo and an anchor with a mickey head in middle on the material. Then, one large pattern on the center of the back. I hope you can see the mono-chromatic pattern in my picture.

We are booked on this sailing, and look forward to cruising with you.

Woody

Thanks for the pictures. They are truly beautiful. Was this a Baltic trip? What did you think of NCL?

I'm not Tink, but she was on a Norwegian (as in Norway) Fjords cruise. The photos say P&O Azura - which looks a lot like some Princess ships: http://www.pocruises.com/

I returned from my Brilliance of the Seas (RCI) cruise to Norway 3 days ago, and it was fabulous! I don't understand the attraction of Caribbean cruises during the HOT summer - especially when one could enjoy cooler weather in wonderful places such as Canada, Alaska, and Northern Europe.

Catching up on the thread. Just got back from a fabulous 12 night Eastern Med and Greek Island cruise on Celebrity. What an amazing itinerary. The ship was gorgeous and excellent service. I still have unpacking and laundry to catch up on. :scared1:

So, finally I can focus on this cruise. I see that we have gone to a private FB group. Just need to request inclusion?

Going to finish catching up on the past posts.

Welcome back! My husband and I loved the Silhouette, too, so I booked the Solstice for January 2014 to Australia/NZ. :woohoo:

Oh Nancy, I'm SO jealous. I would love to do that itinerary!!

Thank you very much, that's a lovely thing to say :-)

As the OP has pointed out, we actually went with P&O, although NCL does look like an amazing cruise line!

It was completely Fjords that we visited, Baltics is next on my cruise list after our EBTA! Thinking of booking a RC 7 night Baltics one for September 2013.....

I have tried to find the link to the facebook group for this cruise but have not been successful. I am not that up on facebook but happy to try. If someone could post the link here, I'll move it to the first posting on page one.

Thanks

Val

I have been going back and forth with this cruise and a non Disney cruise and it looks like this is winning so far.
Can I just ask anyone flying from the UK which airline they are using. I have already found that booking a return is way cheaper than booking a one way (!) but is there a difference between BA and Iberia as they appear to be the same flight, but with different prices! Also, is there anything else I should be taking into account?
I'm sure there will be loads more I'll need to ask, so please be patient with me!
Thanks!

What are your plans after arriving in Spain? Anyone doing another Disney Cruise once there or anyone planning to go to Paris or Disneyland Paris? Does anyone know if Disney Adventures will be offering something starting 6/1/12?

I'm doing this cruise with my two youngest DDs, once we disembark in Barcelona we will fly to Copenhagen. We will meet my DH and DD(17) and spend a few days there before boarding the NCL Star for a 9 night Baltic sailing. :goodvibes

We have booked through BA using avios (new name for airmiles) it comes in really handy for one way flights. We are going Manchester-heathrow-Dallas and only pay the taxes & charges.

If you shop at Tesco you can build up the miles quickly using clubcard points. It is also possible to earn miles through credit card usage. Most Amex cards offer a scheme to collect miles when using their cards.

When we went on the WBTA in 2011 we had the same issue with one way flights and ended up booking through virgin cruises just to get the one way flight back from Orlando, I'm not sure if this would be possible with it going out of Texas.

When on the cruise a lot of people said Icelandic air were good for one way flights via reykjavik but again this was to Orlando, I'm not sure if they go into Texas.

You could fly into Orlando with either of the above options and then look at getting an internal flight into Houston

Hope this helps

Paul
