MandyGirl's list of 20% off select cruises which she posted on Facebook (4 available after our cruise) included in 2013:
the EBPC on Sept 14 on the Wonder, LA to Galveston;
and in 2014,
the WBPC on May 2, Miami to San Diego on the Wonder,
the EBPC Sept. 12 on the Wonder, San Diego to Port Canaveral,
and the EBTA on May 13, Port Canaveral to Barcelona.

EHIC Card, small blue credit card sized and I thought I didn't need this, however we do, because we land in three countries covered by the card. Portugal/Gibraltar/Spain and EHIC cards, gives free emergency treatment of medical care at no cost, or something like that. Please remember to carry it also, it needs to be with you whilst attending a hospital (which of course none of us will need

You are sooooo going to be divorced after this cruise, I am sure. First you have the platinum thing going now, next you get in on the Chocolate Alcohol tasting we are getting onboard, and now you raid her stash?? Actually stashes (plural)! She must absolutely love you!!

Next thing you know, there will be a report of some small ship lost at sea off of JVD and we have to detour there to help them (just a tad out of our way), and your life will be over

And you know I am just giving you a hard time...

Unless you are flying back to the US or Canada right after we arrive in Barcelona, remember to bring European plug adapters. If you are from Europe, then you'll need US plug adapters.

How will the candy swap participants learn about particulars? Cabins? Day to distribute?

DH says if you fly into Intercontinental terminal A you are told to pick up bags at terminal B. yet, he had been told to meet Disney shuttle in Terminal A. Is there an update about this?

If you are flying in the day before you have top take your bags to the hotel and they will give you a letter, if you ate coming in on Friday they will meet you.

Good point and it's also worth noting that European Plugs, and therefore adapters (as we call them in the UK ) work in your cabin - If you are scared of loosing things, fit your adapters as soon as you get on board.

Ooh - I should add - BE VERY CAREFUL with the voltage on your devices. Pluging your 110v hair dryer into a European socket will cause flames to come out of the back, as I have witnessed with my own eyes.

Europe is 230v (give or take) and 50hz, whereas US is 110v 60hz - Most devices will allow the difference in Hz (although Video cameras sometimes have a bit of problem, but that usually manifests itself when videoing lighting in Europe with a US camera) but they won't survive the voltage difference UNLESS your power adapter specifically says something like 110-240v - Please be careful and double check.

Haha! The one who texted me that 20% off photo is actually a coworker of my husband's! Hubby and I were sitting in bed last night and I am texting back and forth and getting excited, and had to fess up who I was texting He had just finished WDW and texted me a picture of the Magic from the bus all lit up. He and his wife took their 4 year old.... her third cruise on the Magic since September! I have had several friends book the Magic since she homeported in Texas -- just too good of a chance to pass up to be able to cruise DCL without driving/flying to FL or CA. They have seen my facebook posts of previous cruises or going to cheer the Magic into port in September, then start asking questions... before you know it, they are making FE gifts

Hi everyone! I just found you guys today - boy am *I* late to the party I actually just booked the cruise last week and am very excited to be leaving in less than 3 weeks.

I live just outside Dallas in Richardson, Texas.

I am trying to figure out how / where to register for group outings and would love some advice (preferably PM so as not to hog up the boards!) on my next steps ;-)

Can't wait to meet everyone! I'm avid on FB, so you'll probably see me more on that side of the media.

OK, I imagine that I'm getting obsessive.... but I've got a file folder on Disney Cruises we may be interested in (EBA, WBTA, WBPC, EBPC, and Alaska) and what they are going for $$$$ as of May first. I will be a pest at the booking desk (hey-- we have 14 days, right?) and try to maneuver the best deal. I am liking the possible 20% off; but since DH just **needed** space on this cruise <me screaming> and booked a 4A --FOR THE TWO OF US!!!!, I'm angling for smaller and cheaper next time. Mostly cheaper. Being prepared beforehand with prices is key, I agree, twopeasinonepod!

EEEEEKKKKK- I forgot to pack that!!! Good thing you mentioned it! I usually use my iGo (but that isn't iGo-ing! he he he). Gotta go find the stupid adapter now...thanks again!!

I just sent an email to the hotel in Barcelona asking if they have both formats, but I seriously doubt it. Disneyland Paris did the last time I was there (I think) but off to find the adapter tomorrow!

Got me thinking, I don't think I have ever seen concierge available for this cruise, right from booking window?? Has anyone else noticed??
Yet on all the repo cruises next year there is still availability.

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it but all this secrecy about entertainment
Onboard has my head working overtime

Btw I don't need to know I like surprises
