May 18, 2003 Wonder

DH and I will be wearing our first cruise photo tshirts!I can't wait!Time is going by so fast.
We are going to Atlantis on Nassau day as well as the Del Sol store other then that we are going back on the boat early. As for Freeport, I loved the perfume that I got there last time,so we are just going to the International Bazaar while we are there.12 days and counting!Let us know if you all decide to get together and meet!

If anyone is up for it - we'll be hanging out around the pool at the Radisson Saturday night. We (myself and DDs Meagan - 19 and Erin - 18) will be with another single mom family with two young girls ages 4 and 6. My girls and I will be donning our lime green ribbons or Home Depot chic Mickey heads. We will be on the lookout for others around 8 or so?
It sounds as though quite a few of us may be trying to schedule the Absolute Face and Body on Freeport day! Also, remember that the Rainforest Room is divine (and very affordable). I'll begin my day there when it opens.
See You All Soon,
Dawn

I can't wait!!!!! How is everyone wearing their lime green ribbons? I don't have one yet so I just want to know what length to get!

We should do a quick ship meet! Anyone have any ideas.?

Another Absolute Face & Body on Freeport cruiser here!!!

4u2dream...love the prayer!!

To all starting their vacations at WDW...I wish you pixie dust and sunny skies!

To all staying at the Rad Saturday night....I wish I was there!

To all.......See you on the Wonder!!!!

Thanks disneygal58 for the info about the shore excursion to the Lucayan Resort. I think we probably will wait until the day before to reserve the excursion just in case the kids want to stay on the ship that day. I can't believe some of you are ready to go! I have yet to pack one thing:eek: I think I'm going to be doing a lot of running around the last week.

meb51,
I never pack until the evening before we leave. The dya before that we run around town picking up things that we think we will need - it's always amzing to me what we can live without every day of our lives at home, but must purchase to take with us for the few days that we are away.
Another advantage to waiting to book a beach excursion - it gives you the opportunity to check upon the weather. Since excursions are essentially non-refundable, I would hate to feel compelled to go or do something in unfavorable weather just because I paid for it.
I am definitely open to an onboard meet - perhaps at the after the drill and before the sailaway party we can meet on the deck by scoops. Don't forget to bring the bubbles for sailaway!

Dawn

We'll also be at the Radisson the night before. I can't believe it is almost here!

Still no Docs yet!!!!!!!

Tomorrow we go to the TA and jump up and down til we get them.
I am so jealous that you all have all the info you need (excursions etc.) If it wasn't for this board I wouldn't have a clue what is needed. Does anyone know which excursions typically are fully booked in advance?

Sam
Have a good flight. I cant wait until we are finally in the air. Then maybe I can relax. Listen out for our Welsh accents and say hello if you hear us (not that we're loud or anything!!).

Kay

We too haven't yet packed a thing. I need to try on my one and only bathing suit to see if it fits, with me being pregnant.

My DM has bought my DD a gagillion new outfits and will be packing and bringing those since she is flying in from PA and us from TX.

I'm only planning on taking a few things and if need be I'll wash them on board.

I really like the idea of meeting at scoops after sail away party before dinner. I still haven't gotten to Home Depot to check on the Lime Green Mickey heads but we'll be sporting some sort of lime green tag or ribbon. Oh and by the way, my DD is 23 months and she has RED hair. That's one easy way to spot me! hehe.

After the cruise we have a day room at the airport Hyatt b/c my DM flight doesn't leave til 5. We are staying with friends in Daytona for a few extra days. Has anyone ever done the day room? Just curious.

We can't wait!! I can't believe it's coming up so soon!!

DBF, Paul is all packed - I on the other hand am not ;) Only one full day left for us.

See you at the pool with any luck depending on Paul and what we do for dinner etc etc. Try to make just for a hello ;)

Kaslee,
You can phone or go to the DCL website to get a description of and make reservations for any of the excursions. The excursions that typically fill up/sell out quickly are the dolphin encounters.
Good luck with your documents!

To all of you from the UK flying out the next couple days - have a very safe trip and I'll see ya aboard the Wonder!

We are staying on Disney property the night of the 17th as we are going to the parks on Saturday.Time is going so fast!I can't wait!

Maria

Kay - How goes it with the documents?? I hope you get them soon.

fredms - thanks for the send off and see you on board ;)

We're about to go to page 2 so I had to bump!!!

Our weather forecast is starting to look a bit questionable.
No rain in sight yet, but definitely overcast. Of course, if the weather in the Caribbean is anything like Florida weather, the forecast will change daily!!

11 more days!!!

I just cancelled my DCL transfers and booked with Happy Limo instead. I had read a trip report from Easter where the person had waited on the DCL bus at the airport (for it to fill) and didn't make it to port til 12:45. She couldn't even get spa ressies. I'm not leaving at 5:00am for nothing! Plus,we all know how I feel about Absolute Face and Body.

So, a little bit unnerved about having made a change so close to leaving but I think its for the better.

We leave for the land part of our land/sea one week from today. (we added a day to make it 4 days land and 4 sea) Is there more than one shuttle to the port from WDW on Sun morning? Any suggestions on haw to get my in-laws from the port to the train station at the end of the cruise. We go to the airport but my mother-in-law won't fly so they are taking Amtrak back to New York. My understanding is that disney transfer only goes to the airport.

mcfamily,
The DCL shuttle leaves each Disney hotel at a specific time. I think Barb and Tony's site may list the times. When we stayed at CBR, the bus didn't leave until 12:30 - getting us to the Port at 1:30. If you can't find the info online, call the Resort or DCL. If making Spa or Palo ressies are important, consider hiring one of the other shuttle services.
Good Luck,
Dawn Hope

We're off

Bye everyone - off to the airport early in the morning.

Thanks for making this waiting so much fun and see you all soon :)

Still no Docs.

Yesterday the TA promised that they would be here today by special delivery. I'll believe that when I actually have them in my hand.

I looked at the excursion info on the Disney site, I cant believe I missed it before!! I think the Blue Lagoon trip sounds good to me. We would like to swim with the stingrays. I will wait until I see the Docs before booking anything, but at least I have a few ideas. We will probably have a quick look around Freeport and then spend the day on the ship. After the cruise we plan on going to the Lone Cabbage fish camp and doing an airboat ride before driving back to Orlando.

See you all there

Kay
