Ok, no seriously, I feel your pain. I am Mexican-American and am whiter than white....almost as white as Yoni and he is from Finland!!!! If the sun would get out I will be out by the pool and hopefully get some color before we go on the cruise but we shall see!!!!




AAAAAAAAAA, I feel your pain Indigo. It drives me nuts to lose and then gain, sometimes just for being a woman! I must say I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jillian Michaels. She is brutal. I am sure you will be BEAUTIFUL at the cruise so don't stress!!!!



Barbara -- I am a bit of a gym rat too and you can sign me up for losing at least 5 lbs before the cruise, although, may have to bring the strechy pants just in case!!!!



JorDan -- so so so happy to see you posting again! Now sweet young thing, if I understand your pictures from FB, 6 lbs on you may feel dreadful but I am sure, won't make any bit of difference on your slim athletic body. I am sure it will come right off so don't sweat it.

Somehow I am not surprised you have the whole pirate thing figured out. Now to just have you heal fast and make costumes for the rest of us!!!!

Hubby took me to the mall to cruise clothes shop. I went 3 weeks ago and they had NOTHING!
Tonight I found plenty of tank tops, swim suit shorts, flip flops and jewelry. Really made me super happy and excited!!
My pirate outfit is complete!

I have an idea for the mini navigators...For those that want to walk...should we maybe put a meeting time on there?? I"m thinking like 7 or 8 AM on the walking deck????

WOW! I go to a neighbors for dinner and lo and behold, everyone gets busy on the board! Ok, so going to respond but mind you, have had 2 mexican martinis (they were teensy tiny I promise) and 2 glasses of bubbly (ok, so maybe not so tiny) so please forgive my typos. If I don't make sense, well, I can't say I will in the morning either after my snafu this am!!!!!

Yes, I took mine last time to GS & got it back Fri night in our stateroom. I'll probably do something very similar to last time. Here's a pic of mine from last time. I also bought the frame on the ship.

Cinda--I'm wondering if I've missed something in my quick skimming...you had someone do a transfer for you? I tried to find transfers at Hobby Lobby today, but all they had were the fabric (sew on) ones. Justin has a guy that does his company's shirts, and he just got a new machine for short runs, so he's going to have him try it with your ~*~*awesome*~*~ design. I hope it works out right, but just in case it doesn't, I'm going to need Plan B.

Looks like the Canadians are starting to get their docs before the Americans!

Lynsey--I might have to check out Cato also!! I forget that we even have that store. I've never been in there before, and we've had it for 1-2 years. My friend that I spent all day with at a craft show yesterday had a neat shirt on from there, so now I've heard 2 people talk about it in 2 days, so I better check it out!! Especially for some shorts! I need those!

I see you guys just keep chatting tonight. I'm still several pages behind, and the new pages just keep adding up!

I'm planning on doing a handful of magnets: Cinda's design, Sara's design (from MANY moons ago!), our Huskers one, LGMH's, Mickey ears, etc. Mine were all surprises last time. I knew if I told Justin about it beforehand, he would've thought it was silly. So I surprised everyone, and they loved it!!


Okay, so I still have 4 pgs to catch up on (all today!!), but my battery is dying, so I'll post this and then be back later after I finish the rest!

Well, Mati & Amanda, since you asked, I had a busy Wednesday with work, then Thursday I had to get my work done at a decent time (had to ignore all the instant emails about new posts) because I had my Bunco group that night, and then yesterday I went to Omaha (2 hrs away) for a HUGE craft show with my friend--we've gone every spring & fall for the last 11 years!--so I was gone ALL day. Then today we had football games this morning for the boys from 9-12, and then some Mary Kay deliveries, and then I did the work that I missed out on doing yesterday because of the craft show, and then I did this & that & next thing I know, it's 9:30 when I'm finally getting a chance to sit down to check in with my peeps! (And watch some Oprahs, too--I'm about a week behind.) So here we are 3 1/2 hrs later, and I'm ALMOST caught up. I wanted to do this on the elliptical, but I'm sure it would've taken twice as long to do it. Plus I didn't want to start a workout that late ("do it before bed," to quote Indigo). BUT it's funny how I was thinking the same as you when I saw how fast new posts were happening on a Saturday night!!

Indigo--I see you found Sara's magnet that I just mentioned! How funny that we were both thinking about it at the same time! It is great, isn't it?!?! THANKS, SARA!!

JorDan--I was thinking the same thing about a "walking" addition to the mini-navs. Thanks for thinking of it when I forgot about it in the last couple days! (Great minds think alike!) I was also wondering if the tastings will be put on it, too.

FINALLY all caught up!! And it looks like everyone is in bed by now. Or at least not here anyway. Maybe in bed but not asleep...

Val, that sounds like a crazy week!! Mine was also nuts but did get to work from home on Friday. This week I will be out every day- I just want to get it over with - I am sure it is going to make the time go faster for the cruise.

My sister and I and 2 of her 3 daughters are going on this cruise, too. We are extremely excited.

Our husbands, my sister's oldest daughter and my two teenage sons are too cool and/or two busy, so this is a girls-only trip.

Well I had fought hard to lose 2 lbs FINALLY and then promptly gained back 1....hopefully it is bloating but how annoying.

We are on day 3 of the 30 day Shred with Jillian MIchaels, we are stiff and sore and hopefully that will help to get rid of at least 5 lbs before this cruise...we leave in 25 days.

Tell me about it! I was up a pound this morning thanks to Easter weekend, so I did a big workout . . . and am now making blueberry muffins I'm gonna have to fly home naked because nothing is going to fit me by the end of the 3 weeks!

I have heard really good things about Jillian Michaels workouts from the dieting thread, so have ordered the "boost metabolism" one. Its coming from the US though so won't be here this side of the trip - I am definitely going to need it when I get back!!!

Good Morning Tiffany!!! My Mexican Martini was homemade by my neighbor with my own very special recipe. It is wonderful but apparently, pretty strong! I love Trudy's too and especially love the purple margs from Baby A's but haven't been there in awhile. Hmmmmmmm, maybe it is time for a trip back?

Great idea JorDan! I hope to get up and walk too! Also, we should add the tastings. I will post that again but let me see if I can get some more recent navigators to double check on the times. Good Sunday morning everyone.

Hudson&Lennon: Thanks, the photo was taken in Sicily two summers ago when our family went as a large group to visit with my sister's Sicilian in-laws. Our only real overseas trip to date, but what a trip. We have reserved a spot on the Sept 2010 westbound transatlantic Magic for our next big trip.

Motorcycle team: DH Frank doesn't have a Harley, but he does have a little Yamaha that he says to tell you: "eats Harleys and Kawasakis for breakfast."

Nice to meet you to the new folks. I am mostly a lurker, but really enjoy following the conversation here. We also will be celebrating our anniversary (our 33rd) on this cruise (a few weeks early, the actual date is the first week in June).

We also are thinking of trying for an upgrade at the port if there is a cheap one. DH is in the yacht building industry and most folks where he works (many hundreds) are already gone. I keep pretending that nothing is amiss, but really should stop spending unnecessary $ to upgrade vacations when things are so iffy. So, does anyone have a clue what "at the port" upgrades have been going for lately? Anne
