Congratulations on all the great upgrades.

I was just playing around on a cruise website to check availability after these room assignments and they are not selling CAT 10/11's anymore, they show CAT 9's as GTY, CAT 8 they have 5 available, CAT 7 only 1, CAT 6 - 6 available, and CAT 4/5 they have 7 available. The max this site shows is 7 rooms per category and I checked before they made our assignments and this website was showing at least 5 rooms available for every CAT (4-11) so it looks like there was a lot of pixie dust spread around yesterday.

Tinkattude6, hopefully DCL will make things right for you and not make you wait until boarding.

Beautiful family! I just have to say that I love your avatar. When my in-laws came over from England last October and we went to WDW, I made us those shirts as well. They are so cute. We were all sure that we would be the only ones in the parks with the stick-figure shirts and sure enough at rope drop to the MK we see a whole big group with DIS stick-figure shirts. I told my in-laws that the DIS was a popular site. I don't think they realized how popular it was until they saw those shirts.

Would anyone be interested in a very informal meet and greet at the Radisson on Friday night? I'm thinking somewhere near the pool/bar area around 9 or so... We will probably be there anyway and I just thought it might be kind of fun! If they have a karyoke area, that might also be a good place...

I'm just thankful that Andy and Ashley are right next door That will make it all worth it!!!

I know were excited you guys are next door!! being on deck 2 will be ok! It will give us a chance to work off dinner, Walking up and down all the stairs!!

I just can't believe that linking dinners affected our cabin assignments!!!

Surely they're not going to book that many people in the next month, are they? Looks like my parents may have a good chance at paying for an upgrade at check in. Probably!!! We don't really know what our plans are for Friday evening, other than finding someplace to eat! It kind of depends on the kids, too, and whether they're ready to crash for the night by 9 PM or if they're "too excited to sleep!"

Belinda- (if you don't mind me asking) Where are you guys staying prior to the cruise?
Ashley and I are staying In Daytona Beach the 14th to the 16th and we thought if you were close maybe we could meet for dinner or something before we board. Just a thought!!

I used www.militarycruisedeals.com but cross referenced it with expedia and they were showing the same availability. My firewall blocks DCL access but the last time I checked DCL the basic availability was the same as these sites but you can input specific rooms on DCL. When I researched my parents CAT 4 upgrade 3 days ago it seems like the entire 8th deck was available (almost every room I put in was available). So yes there are still more than a few upper category rooms available.

I found some that are obviously not specifically showing off the room but the kids, towel animals, etc. Hopefully you can see enough of the room in the background.

Hi all! Just checked and we all got upgraded from cat 12's to cat 11's. The best part is all 3 rooms are near each other!

We did a little shopping for the cruise yesterday & I got formal & semi-formal or Palo brunch dresses. Mom got a CUTE dress and so did my little brother's girlfriend! Got my little brother sandals, dress shoes, suit, and other clothes.

We also walked out of there with about 10 pairs for shoes for us gals!!!
LOVE NORDSTROM RACK!

Crystal, I just had a thought. Would it help at all in getting things changed around if you un-linked from the rest of us? I think having your family close together is much more important than sitting at the same table with us. Just a thought...(trying to help!)

I tryed that. Nothing is working.

So weired feel like it's a bad dream.I guess i just have to wait until on the boat. I really think this is terrible. Do you think i'm over reacting? I feel so let down by DCL and my TA. They blame DC.
