we fly in friday and are staying at the raddisson at the port. and then after the cruise we are heading over to the nick hotel until Monday. We will relax there on saturday with the kids and sunday do one of the disney parks-

Our travel plans: We fly in on Thursday evening and stay one night at the Boardwalk Villas (renting points from one of the members...the only way to stay at Disney). We had planned to drive down but was able to get a really cheap flight with Allegiant Air.

Friday - All day at EPCOT. One-day tickets are so expensive, but I was able to get some from eBay for about $15 less per ticket.

Friday night - Stay at the Marriott Residence Inn

Saturday - Take the shuttle over to the port (the shuttle is $3/person each way).

We are at the Residence Inn, too. It's a real nice hotel, plus we get our DD government discount.

Last night we took them to the Oasis -- a famous "Austin" restaraunt on the lake known for the sunsets.

Oh my gosh, I love that place! Cracks me up how they clap for the sunset there!
Glad the weather has been nice for them. It's been absolutely gorgeous here!

Anyone have any experience with this hotel? They have a park and cruise deal for $140.00 plus tax.

I feel almost famous! I saw that someone found my post on cruise critic when I was trying to find this board. I'm here! Hooray! Thanks for caring though and I'm glad that I finally found this board. We're really excited that the cruise is next month. We'll be flying out of Newark, NJ on the 15th and staying overnight at the Residence Inn Marriott. I'm a bit nervous about flying with our then 10 month old...but hopefully it will work out. We can't wait!

So, has anyone done the Rasul before? I booked this for us but I'm a little skeptical. DH hates lotions and oil and I didn't even bother to tell him about the mud. I wanted it to be a surprise but I can't hold hot water so I told him and he was very open to the idea (I wonder why .)

As far as the FKLP excursion what do we have in mind? Are we wanting to meet at a specific time and walk around to a few different stores for tasting OR do we just want to pic a specific time for a specific store? Just wondering so I can add this to our mini-navigator.

I guess it kind of depends on when we're all planning on going ashore. I've been waiting 2 years for my FKLP, so I'll be running to the first one I can find!

We booked with AAA discount, not the hot deal. Sorry I can't help!

Also for those who booked the Radisson for May 15th in advance, I checked the Radisson website and it looks like the prices have gone up. I'm really glad that we decided to go ahead and book early. I guess it pays to be an obsessive-compulsive planner

Is it really only 44 days? That means cabin assignments in about 12 days, right?

I saw on the main board a Q about upgrades, and someone on the May 7th Wonder had just gotten their room assignment, so maybe it'll be closer than originally thought! (I picked my stateroom, but I'll be excited to hear what all the cat 12 gty rooms end up with!)

Are you scheduled for the shuttle yet?!?! We have a DIS bunch on the 10 AM shuttle. There might still be room for you. You're a big group, though, right? I think I've heard the shuttle holds 30, and at one point, I think we had over 20 scheduled already. Maybe you can get on the 10:30 shuttle to meet up with all of us that will be there early.

We are from Canada. We live in Ontario for six months (spring til fall) and then PEI for fall to spring. We will be driving down from Ontario (22 hours) to the port.

I booked the cruise a couple of months ago. I got one of those sweet deals on a cat 12. My father and his family were supose to join us but they had to opt out. So, it will be just the two of us; however, we do have a 15 year old son who won't be joining us. He is in school and he really didn't want to come. Go figure!

I have booked the Grand Caymen city tour and the Zip Line and Sknorkle for Mexico. I think we are just going to walk around and check out Key West. The Zip Line sounded like fun and I booked the tour so that we would have something to do. Maybe we can find a nice beach afterwards.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind one more joining in eventhough it is a little late.

Lyndsey - The cut off date is today, but I'll still be collecting info (especially cabin numbers) but I'll continue to send updated spreadsheets to everyone. Thanks for adding this info to your "Navigators" it will make it much easier for everyone to keep track of everything. Plus since we'll be in WDW just prior to the cruise you'll be able to have the most up to date info. We are taking a computer with us (and we get free internet) so I'll be able to update the spreadsheet till Friday the 15th.

Cinda - We got our Land's End order this week too! Thanks JorDan for the free shipping code!! We love our rash guard shirts and I LOVE my beach treaker shoes. I think I'm going to take back the water shoes to Costco. I like them, but I don't NEED them if I keep the LE ones.

I'll send out the total FE count tomorrow (I'll try and send them out in the morning).

I'm off to watch AI. I'm crossing my fingers that Megan FINALLY gets the boot.

I am going to place an order today and going to try again for the suit and thinking may get some water shoes but nervous about getting the size right (again)....

DIS'rs include me (dta87), DW, DDx2 (19, 15), DS (17) (coming in from VA) DW (maplemouse), DH, DD (coming in from TN), and non-DIS'rs on their first cruise include DDad, DMom, DSisx2, DNx2 (all flying in from CA). I am still working on my third sister but she is resisting all modes of assimilation.

These 44 days can't go quick enough for me.

okay so i ahve to schedule teh shuttle from teh raddison to teh port? We are a party of 10. Do i jsut call teh hotel to do this? I want to be on an early shuttle. Seems like the 10 might be taken- but the next one out i would love to be on.

is anyone meeting on friday at the hotel? I probalby will not be there til about 9:30 or 10, later but i am a night owl.

we currently have main dining but i am debating on switching to late dining just becasue i like to get the most out of my days and do not want to rush to get to dinner. But the other half of our party wants the early dining. If i stay with the early dining i would like to link up with everyone. how do I do this? Is anyone with younger kids linked up? We have four kids coming ages 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 5 1/2, and 11. I do not want the kids to be bothering anybody. They may be in the kids club during dinner, but who knows.
