VAL - Welcome back!
Amaretto Sour is our new family favorite drink. I ordered one for my mom when we went to the bar (about 6 months ago or so) and she liked it more then she thought she would. My bro asked to try it and he liked it to...before I knew it they were fighting over it. Needless to say, there were many more trips back to the bartender that night.
Day 1: find the bartender on DCL that makes the best Amaretto Sour!!!!

For Palo, we are all a it messed up. Since we have a group of 8 adults we had to split our ressie into 2. Problem is I could never get both groups there at the same time. For dinner we are booked Thursday night one group at 6 & one at 6:30. For Brunch we are booked on two different days! I'm going to head straight to the Palo booking area when we get on the ship to try to straighten this all out. Such a pain.

Sue, got you, Sarah & Alicia down for the tastings. Once we have it figured out, we'll figure out how to reserve spots for the group. I haven't done the online check in either -- better add that to my list of things to do!

Val -- probably won't try the iron on until after MIL leaves so after Easter. It is different -- not just a transfer but rather cotton that you print on, then iron the cotton to the shirt. Have no idea how it will work.....
Your girls night out sounds like a BLAST! I want to go. What time should I be ready?

I dont' think I've had an Amaretto Sour -- hmmmm, something else to try! I love Amaretto straight (it is a good sipping drink that makes me feel sophisticated ) so bet I"ll like the Amaretto Sour.

Ok, we are busy trying to make our yard look presentable for MIL. Yoni is building me an arbor so we have some form of privacy from our backyard neighbors Billy & Tom. They are great guys and all but not really the first thing you want to see from the living room windows....

I have an idea about the braclets, since the cut off date for those is April 1st. Hope about we tally up how many people want them, then decide if can do BOTH Adult and Youth??

So I checked out Lands End today with all this talk of water shoes and I have fallen in love with the mary jane water shoes. I'm so tempted to order and try them. We go to the lake alot in the summer so I'm pretty sure I would get good use out of them I would just like to be able to try them on first. We're going out of town for the night tomorrow so I hope to get some shopping done. My DH and his best friend have been planning this little mini weekend trip so that they can go to Cabelas (the closest one is 5 hours away from where we live) so hopefully us girls can get some serious shopping done while the boys are in outdoor heaven.

I'm still at a toss up on the Margarita tasting (I don't do martini's so that part would be a waste). Keep me on the list and I'll decide before the cruise.

I've changed Amanda, Carole and group to Early dinning on the spreadsheet.

I'm still interested in the High Tea on Monday. Thursday we have Brunch at Palo so I'm not sure I can do both Brunch and Tea on the same day (and then still be able to walk afterwards) I wasn't able to book a reservation so if we decide I need to hit Rockin Bar D as soon as we get onboard.

Has anyone did the online checkin at? I haven't. I just read on another thread that someone had missed the deadline. I need to see when that is.

I entered all the info, just need to print it out, but the laptop I use isn't hooked up to a printer so I have to remember to log in from work and print everything out. It was really easy, just entering in your flight info and credit card stuff.

Val - Welcome back!!! We'll all cross our fingers for you on Friday.

Dinner last night was really fun (dinner not so great) but I did get dessert at Cold Stone YUMMMY! We have only one In-N-Out burger place locally but its about 30 minutes away (actually thats probably a good thing).

Got to run going to get my haircut and then I'm suppose to take my mom on a bunch of errands.

So, just from a quick search at Allears.net, here is what I am thinking.....

Epcot -- snack snack snack or counter service at the Land like Jane suggested. Love the B&C idea but we are leaving early in the evening to freshen up and go out for dinner before coming back to enjoy the EMH. I am worried that will take too much time. I may take the kiddos there for ice cream though!

MK -- Dinner at Ohana -- that looks great! How hard is it to get reservations? I better get on it. Will probably do counter service for lunch and Harbor House looks good! Is it tuna like a filet or tuna like tuna salad? I am not a big fish eater but am known to enjoy my tuna salad sandwiches!

I didn't realize the men could wear jeans (well anyone can wear jeans). Hmmm....that helps. I just bought a pair of jean capris at my favorite place -- Costco!

My "like a virgin" story isn't all that awesome -- just imagine, me, young (or somewhat young) american on a ship full of Finns (I married in Finland) having to belt out a song for $ -- it was not fun. Needless to say I am not a good singer AND Finns are really cruel to their bachelorettes (and bachelors -- Yoni's stories are way worse!).

Hi Demi! Oh gosh, identical twins and their names are so close! I think pictures will definitely help.

Alright -- I bit the bullet and ordered the disney swimsuits I ordered the red one piece and the black three piece with pants (so Demi, if you order them we'll be twinkies! of course, that is if they all fit and look decent enough for public ) I also bought the rolling cooler and pop up hamper. My credit card took some damage.....oh well. Hopefully they work!!!!!

Ok -- off to organize the pantry. MY MIL's husband is a neat freak and would probably faint if he saw our pantry right now....

I think that it looks perfect! I'm pretty sure the width is 11"

I'm taking tomorrow off (need to burn some PTO time and NEED a mental health day. Except for taking mom to the accountant in the afternoon I'm going to work on my FE and hope that it comes close to what I have in my brain. Otherwise I'll be hunting for something else to work as well.

Mati - I went to Costco yesterday with Mom and was SO bummed that I couldn't find the water shoes. I've bought a pair from Land's End, but wanted to check those out as well. Anyway, Jim and I went back today to do our shopping and still couldn't find them and then as we were checking out the lady in the next row was just trying a pair on. I ran back to see if I could find them and still no luck. Ran back to the checkout and asked her where she found them and there were 4 pairs in a basket set off to the side (like when they have stuff to restock). I ran over there and found a black pair in my size!!!! I figured I'd do a test of these and the Lan's End ones and then return the one's that I don't like. Then I went ahead and accidentally tossed the receipt at another store. DUH! Guess I'll be keeping the Costco sandals.

I really need to run to the gym, but I really don't want to go.....I'm cozyed up under a blanket, watching Ace of Cakes, and cruising the boards (still reading your food report Sonya).

Because of the "civil" issues around Mexico, we have decided not to do the dune buggy excursion. We know that they go to lots of desolate coastal/beach areas, and don't want to find ourselves in a bad situation (though I realize the odds of this are tiny). Because of this, we are going to Nachi Cocum.

Here's my question... Our port time in Cozumel says 9:30 until 6:30. I know Cozumel's time is 2 hours behind EST, which will be the DCL time on leaving. I also know that Cozumel does not do daylight savings time. So...will the ship set the clocks back 2 hours on Wednesday morning? Or, does 9:30 until 6:30 really mean 7:30-4:30 Cozumel time? Just trying to plan our snorkel trip while at Nachi...
