Val - you mentioned 6:30 dinner - has it changed? i thought it was 5:30, 5:45 and 6? I would love a 6:30, heck I would love a 7:30!

I guess I'm not 100% positive. :confused3 I thought I had read that somewhere. Let me do some checking on where I found that, and I'll let you know!

I know yesterday there was no brunch or tea left. I'll check on dinner...stay tuned!

ETA: It's still fairly open! Available times are:

Sat-6:30, 7:30, 8:30
Sun-all open (6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00)
Mon-7:00, 7:30, 9:00
Tues-all open
Wed-all open
Thurs-6:30, 9:00
Fri-all open (no 9:00 seating, though)

Thanks for this update. But also depressing. I wanted to take my daughters to brunch. Maybe there will be openings when we gtet on board. Does Disney open any time slots at the 75 day mark?

I have a quick qustion!!:rolleyes1

We have two bike rentals on CC, in My online excursions it says we have them for all day, but its like 6$ an hr. We only want them for maybe 2 hrs. Do I just return them when we want to and only get charged for the time we use, or am I charged all day???

You are just charged for the amount of time you use them.
We are doing this too on Castaway Cay - I was wondering if you need bike helmets for adults or the kids?

My understanding is that they do open spots on the 75 day mark for everything....although I know that brunch and high tea are always the hardest to get, aren't they? Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

my whole dining room table is covered with cruise things. I just bought the girls some Jonas Brothers and Buzz outfits, so I have them out waiting to find the matching jewelry on Ebay...have the bows.....such fun.

This sounds like so much fun! I bet your girls are really excited!!

We have a small trip (dd and I to Vegas) in the next few weeks so I am thinking that early April I will start thinking about what I need to get for this upcoming vacation.

We are similar! We were going to try for a baby next year! Now its been put back to post-August! My mother is going to judge me bad for putting a vacation over a baby!!!!:rotfl:

My new office opens Monday, so there are lots of unknowns for us right now. I know I'm a great surgeon, but I'm very young looking and I'm a "stranger" in a small and medically political town. (When I was boarded last year, I was one of the youngest surgeons ever boarded in America...they called to make sure my birthday was correct! ) Assuming things go well, we'll start trying to get pregnant around this time next year. Since we've never tried, we have no idea how long it will take to actually be "with child." I REALLY want to go on either the Norweigan or Princess Med cruise because they go to Egypt (which is the port I want to visit the most). And, I'd like to make that trip before we have kids. However, I'm not too excited about going there IF I'm pregnant. So.... wait on babies (and have an upset husband and family) :confused3 OR go on one more amazing vacation prior to starting our family:banana:...we'll see...

Hi Everyone,

I SO had plans to go searching for FE supplies, but spent the day driving my Mom around to shop. Now I'm too tired and not motivated at all. Guess I'll spend my time reading TRs (I'm working my way through the 75+ page one that was recommended). I only made it to page 10 last night.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to run out to the shops and get inspired (guess I better check and get the right dimensions for the FE) would hate to get too little materials.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Saturday.

Anyone have any updates for the FE Group list? Allergies to list, Favorites to inspire (already got the Reese's pieces)

I thought I would send out an updated list tomorrow. I'm going to send it out in both Excel and Word since BellaMickey had difficulty opening it and I think Val doesn't have Excel.

Jane

Good luck on the new office! I'm sure that's very exciting and nerve racking at the same time. You know I thought of a great idea for your FE gift, I give certificate for a procedure (I can't think of a few things I could use)! :rotfl:

We will also be trying for children soon so we are in the same boat when thinking about rebooking on board. We will probably start trying this fall! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone, I SO had plans to go searching for FE supplies. . . I thought I would send out an updated list tomorrow.

I ordered some FE gifts tonight! I'm trying to be a little creative so we'll see how that goes. The cruise is starting to seem so real now.

DH & I have been talking about when we are going to have kids. He's ready to start now but I told him we have to wait til after the cruise. lol

We also have one booked for Sept 2009 (we booked that one before we knew we were talking this one). I got a pretty good price & a cat 7, so we are thinking about keeping it. Plus it goes to Tortola. However, that means we have to wait for babies til after Sept...not sure I'm going to be able to convince DH of that. But, I'm trying... lol

He keeps telling me we are behind since we are 28 and no kids yet, but few of our friends have kids so I don't know what his issue is...

If it makes you (and him) feel better, we are 31 (32 on cruise day) and 36! At the earliest, we would be 33 and 38/39 at the birth of our first child and frankly it might be one year later than that!

I think all of us baby planners should plan a "baby-making" cruise sometime next year...:rolleyes1 If Adam knew that was the goal, I bet he'd find a way to get the time off of work!

So I must have been combining the two APLLAPL dining times to create my own!!! :rotfl2: I found this:

7 day Western Cruises [per 1/10/09]
PLAAPLA 5:30 and 8:00
LAPPLAP 5:45 and 8:15
APLLAPL 6:00 and 8:30

I hope I didn't throw anyone off too much!

Oh Good! I am thinking I will want to do that on CC too but didn't want to make that decision ahead of time. Do you think it will be a problem to reserve them the day of?

Sounds like fun!!! I am going back to Vegas at the beginning of April with my DH, my MIL and her DH. This time me and DH are only going for 2 nights but it should be more relaxing than the last trip. I will be practicing for the cruise by laying out by the pool and sipping tropical frozen concoctions. I tried to practice last night and made an Agave margarita -- but oh so sad, had the one drink and then it was time for bed! I am either way out of practice or just getting old. :guilty:

I saw the pics of your office on FB -- BEAUTIFUL! You must be so excited! I agree that you should give certificates for treatments as an FE gift -- I am sure I can think of a MILLION procedures I could use! :rotfl:

And Loucinda -- I have a friend who cruised down the Nile last year. He said it was AMAZING! I started to consider doing that but he said you really have to be a history nut to enjoy it and well...to be honest...I am not that into it. My DH is but hey, next year's vacation is all about me right? I am the one turning 40!!!!!

Jane -- you are an Angel for doing all of this! I like the idea of favorites. I don't think our list is that long yet and hoping to be clever (which I am normally not creative at all). Thank you thank you thank you for organizing! :worship:

Ok -- so still enjoying the quiet that is sort of my home (kids are awake but watching tv in the playroom, DH and Cuervo are still sleeping). It is time for another cup of coffee and to start breakfast. Have a good day everyone!!!:)

I'm not really a history buff, but I would like to see the pyramids and the Nile. Frankly, that's what I like about seeing the sights via cruise as opposed to a land trip. I don't care to be there more than 1 night, then I want to return to a comfy ship!

As for the FE gift certificate...somehow I think those gifts would be a little more than a few bucks each! Since the economy is in the tanks, I'm doing more general surgery than cosmetic surgery, but I'm thankful to have the background to do so!:worship:

The weather report said we "might" get some flurries last night. I awoke to about one inch of snow all over our yard. Since the roads may or may not be iced, we decided not to attempt going to church. So....I'm going to finish that 75 page trip report!

I just spent 45 minutes on my elliptical while reading the PassPorter!! :woohoo: Justin is still scheming a way to put the laptop up there. :rotfl2:

I'll need to re-read yesterday's posts later today. I was barely on the DIS yesterday. :sad2: I'd check the new posts quickly when I got a new email but didn't take the time to respond right away. Now I'm getting behind! :scared: See! I do need the laptop on the elliptical!! :lmao:

Wow! What sort of surgeon are you? Thats a proper grown ups job!!! Reading about someone my age doing that sort of thing makes me thing I really must decide what I want to do one of these days!!!!!!!!

There are a lot of us thinking baby thoughts then!!
You have made me feel very old though :rotfl: !!!!!! We are 30 and 31!!!

I did mention to my DH we could make a Disney baby on the cruise next year!! I think thats what made him stump up his credit card for the deposit!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
