Every time that we've gone to Paradise beach, we are usually one of the first to arrive. We are not big shoppers so we usually get off the ship and head straight over there. Maybe we went on the not so busy days but we have always sat in the first row of seats next to the water. It looks like we will be there on a Wednesday this time and according to my little but of research, there may be 7 ships in port that day. If you want something quiet, I've heard really good things about Nachi Cocum (I may have spelled that wrong). It is an all inclusive beach. I think it may be $40 a person but I've heard that its really quite and that price includes food and drinks for the day.
