Ok guys, I think it's time for a daily countdown . With so many of us leaving on different days, I am going to post a countdown to our sail date.....Here goes....

I'm anxious to see if they change the May 9th sailing for this coming weekend. I truly think that if they go to Cozumel then so will we. I can't wait to see what they do

The May 9th cruise is the Eastern Iten. so they don't go to Coz. I'm sure that's one reason Disney is taking their time. They have a whole week in between each Western Iten to re-asses.

WOO-HOO!! Shawn called AirTran and gave them pure hell!! We got put on an earlier flight to Orlando!! Sooooo........We will be at Epcot!!!!We will try our best to be at the 3pm meet but just in case we miss you guys, we will be their at 10:00pm!!!
I wouldn't miss meeting you guys for the world Way too excited!!!

I needed two nights before the cruise and got this hotel on price line for $65.00 per night. So now we may got to EPCOT on Friday???? But I'm wondering has anyone stayed here; what did you think?

I wanted to give a break down of my plans because they changed so much and see what you think.

For starters I'm in PEI, Canada right now. This Sat I will fly up to Toronto to meet my hubby who is there working right now. We were going to leave Thursday morning and drive straight through but some how I got looking at flights and managed to get us non-stop flights there and back.

There we are taking jet blue and Southwest for the way back. Oh wait! Did I forget to say that I'm an extremely nervous flyer. It has been 5 years since I've been on a plane. Oh well, I plan to see my doctor and get something for my nerves.

Anyway we got the flights for $278.00 total for both. I can't believe it. It would of cost us that to drive one way. So then I needed a hotel and got the Hilton in Disney world for $65 per night. Rental car was from dollar at $73 including drop of at port Canaveral. Now I need to get a hotel and rental car for the day we return as our flight back is on Sunday.

As I've never flown either jet blue or southwest or never rented at MCO; just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice that I should know.

I've stayed at a downtown disney hotel one or two times before, but I don't think it was the Hilton. All those downtown disney hotels are pretty nice, brand name hotels. $65 sounds like a great deal. I wouldn't worry. I fly jetblue all the time and I love it. Those are great airline prices. If you haven't flown in a while then jetblue is the airline for you. They have all leather seats with more legroom, free good snacks and soda and individual tvs with direct tv the entire flight. Try the blue potato chips -- they're awesome! I haven't flown Southwest for a while so I can't comment on them, but I do know that they don't charge for 2 checked bags so if you buy lots of souveniers and have to check another bag you are all set.

That sounds good. Cozumel was the only port that I had an actual excursion planned. I'm hoping that we get to keep it now that the swine flu hubbub is setteling down.

Everyone wants to call me "Maddie" which does drive me a bit up the wall but I completely understand so thought I would remind everyone.

I know I know -- what a pain right? sorry.....I guess I can be high maintenance every now and then!

Any other names that we may be mis-pronouncing? Any other nicknames we should use (i.e. V instead of Vanessa, Cinda instead of Loucinda --although I think Loucinda is ok right?)

Our kiddos are dressing up for pirate night. DS (4) had to try his on last night to make sure it still fits. I bought the costumes a few months ago and he is definitely a growing boy. Luckily everything still fits.

I just saw a post on the main board about someone who just got off the Tortola cruise on Saturday, and their rotation was APLAPLA, which is what I had 2 yrs ago, but I thought they had since switched to APLLAPL, etc. Hmmmm...I guess we really won't know what to expect until we check in at the terminal!

Easterns and Westerns have different dining rotations. I prefer the Easterns just because I do not like doubling up on the restaurants

I booked really late for this cruise and was unable to get any Palo times as well. I am getting to the port early and once onboard making my way to the Rockin' Bar D to try to get a reservation. I've read that they hold back some reservations for people who weren't able to get them.

Awww.....Shawn and I feel the same way It's going to be so hard...I hate goodbyes so much!!! Every year Shawn and I take a disney vacation, so like you, I'm definalty going to have to start planning another one when we get back!!! Welcome Bill. I joined in on all this quite late, too. This will be our first Disney Cruise and my husband and I are also celebrating an anniversary that week. Our 8th. There are actually several more of us who'll be celebrating anniversaries while on board.
