May 16, 2004 / 4 Day Wonder

I personally dont care where we stay. I will be happy just being there. Warmth, water, food......AND DISNEY..Oh, and Anna....if your clock is set right, it means we are leaving at 1PM. We have to be in VA by then. Soooooo, maybe leave here by 9, or earlier??? I set my clock to match yours..

I was just looking at the menus on www.allearsnet.com It does sound really good. Anna and I are trying to make the plans for dinners and park itinerary. We will be running ourselves ragged :moped:

Glenn: When I set the timer, I set it with us leaving on May 12, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. That is what time our train leaves isn't it? The dinners will be the hardest to plan for considering we have to fit all the parks in in less than 3 days, which is virtually impossible if you ask me. Like I said to you on the phone this morning, there are some things that we have to do like haunted mansion and pirates, etc. my boys won't miss that. I can do without epcot personally but your brother wants to do mission space and test track. Like you, I won't be going on mission space so it will be Mike with all the kids. I'll go with you to get your stein and do some shopping. ARen't you lucky!

I believe we have a day at sea and not a stop in Freeport, is that everyone’s understanding of our itinerary. Last cruise they added Freeport on us and we missed out on the day at sea so I am keeping my fingers crossed this time. If we have the day at sea our itinerary should look like this:

Itinerary:
Sun
Travel to Port Canaveral to depart at 5 p.m.
Mon
Arrive at Nassau at 9:15 a.m., depart at 11 p.m.
Tue
Arrive at Castaway Cay at 7 a.m., depart at 5 p.m.
Wed
Relax for a full day at sea.
Thu
Arrive at Port Canaveral at 6 a.m., debark the ship at 8:30 a.m.

just one little problem:

NOT ENOUGH DAYS!!!

I agree with you videogal. Not enough days. Oh well, we will do what we liked best and some of what we havent seen yet. we can do EPCOT in the morning and be done there by noon. I just need my stein from Germany and that is only 1/4 way around.

We'll squeeze epcot in on Saturday sometime when we are at MGM studios. MGM opens at 8:00 a.m. so I think we should be done there by 2 or so. We can head over to Epcot by boat (like the last time) and be back at Polly for 5:15 luau. 2 hours is more than enough time there. Don't you think? If not, you'll be stuck with me shopping! lol;) :Pinkbounc

I am keeping my fingers crossed that our flight down is not changed, at least not to a later flight. It looks like only 5 of 18 rows have been filled so far. I guess we still have 60+ days to go so I will hope all works out. I am not sure if there is a minimum number of seats they must fill to keep the flight or if it doesn’t matter on the smaller planes.

OK Guys just think in two short months we will be meeting at the DCL terminal getting ready to board the ship.

I agree Lynda not enough days. Wish we had more time at WDW but alas other adventures await.

For our day and ½ at WDW - Day one (5/20) arrive check in at BCV and off to MK( a tradition), not the best choice as it is an early entry day, when it gets crowed back to BCV settle in if not already done at check in time, a dip in Stormalong Bay, then an evening at EPCOT, might see if we could catch wishes then Monorail to Epcot for Illuminations. Next day Early entry at AK. The afternoon off to the airport.

We will see how and if it all works out.

Two SHORT months... thats funny. I know time usually flies when you are not waiting for something, BUT two SHORT months. It will seem like eternity until the day arrives, then it will be over in a flash. Well, guess we have to make the best of it when it does get here, eh?
:cool1:

:jumping1:

Maybe we will all win a secret 14 day cruise while onboard and will be required to take it right after arriving back at port from the 4-night we are all on! I don’t think I would put up a fight. :)

Wouldnt that be GREAT... I think I could slide out of work for 2 more weeks for something like that.

I would be very tempted to call the office and tell them I needed two weeks of sick time as I had something wrong with my eyes.

Yep, I could just not see comming to work. :smooth:

We are in room 8518. I cannot seem to locate an exterior picture to confirm if the veranda will have an open railing or a solid one. I have a feeling it is an open view but wanted to confirm. Any suggestions on where to locate a good picture?

Scott- Thanks for the suggestion. I did check Dave's site and couldn’t locate the picture I was looking for. I know I found good pictures of the exterior before but can’t recall where. We had an open railing in room 8528 so I am going to guess it is the same for 8518. I may post on the main board and see if anyone can confirm for sure.
