I don't know. Wish I could be a size zero, deliver a 10 pound baby and go back to being a size zero again. I must be doing something wrong. She was induced at 7:00 p.m. bobby called me at 12:25 and told me that she was 9 centimeters and that I better get to the hospital. I got to the hospital at 1:05 a.m. and he had already been born. Six hours of labor, all done!

We are rapidly approaching the 60 day mark and I think we should be getting excursion info about then. We are not really planning any excursion but who knows will have to see what is offered.

Yes, Congratulations must go out for the recent delivery!!

I am also surprised with the ship basically being sold out that we haven’t had more DISers jump into this post. Nonetheless, we will all still have a WONDERful time!

Hi all
and CONGRATULATIONS....GRAMMA

I've been studying the collection of posts for other cruises (notably the May 23 Wonder) and it appears that there are only a few posters out of an almost full ship as well. I cannot believe that so many people do NOT know about the amazing Disboards but it could be possible that some prefer to get their information from their own experiences rather than learning from others' experiences.......Tough way to go...

You said we should be getting excursion info...Where does that come from? Did you mean YOU or do they send that out to all the cruisers?

Glenn,

You should recieve info in the mail near the 60 day mark if my memory serves me right . Last cruise, we booked our stuff via e-mail. You can also view alot of good info on the disney cruise website. I have pasted some general info from their site below:

Shore Excursion Request

Three easy ways to reserve your shore excursions:
Call the Special Services Desk at (877) 566-0968†.

E-mail your shore excursion requests along with your name and reservation number to dcl.shore.excursions@disneycruise.com*

Click here to download and print a PDF of the Shore Excursion Request Form. Then fill out the form completely and fax to (407) 566-7031† .

Shore excursions can be made within 60 days prior to sailing. Some excursions have capacity limits so be sure to make your request early. Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. You can alter your shore excursion requests anytime up to two (2) days prior to sailing. You should note that after that time, no new excursion reservations can be made and all existing shore excursion reservations are considered final and unfortunately cannot be changed or refunded. Of course if you decide not to pre-reserve shore excursions prior to your cruise, you can still stop by the ship's Shore Excursion Desk, located on Deck 3, on embarkation day, to check availability and purchase excursions. But remember, some excursions may already be full and therefore unavailable.

When your shore excursion is pre-reserved, you will receive excursion tickets delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day. Payment for confirmed excursions is conveniently billed directly to your shipboard account. We unfortunately will not be able to accept payment in advance.

*We are unable to accept attachments with email requests. Please provide the required detail from the Excursion Request Form into a text email.

† If you are not 18 years of age or older, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

Thanks for the info. we have been looking at the sites ALOT, trying to make some plans. It will definately be fun. Cannot wait.:bounce:

Well, Atlantis is what we discussed the other night. I think we have plenty of time to hit the market and Pirate museum. Also, the banana boat in CC, other than that, I want to take the kids snorkeling, but not on an excursion. SOOOOO, the only ones we SHOULD do are Atlantis and Banana boat, unless they have others that we dont know about.

Okay sounds good. Did you read through that Banana Boat thread I sent to you a bit ago? Andy says to take the last banana boat ride of the day so that you can go straight to the boat afterward. So we'll have to see if we can get that one. I'll probably kill myself out there.

Scottie,

Great answer to Glenn's question. It has been a while since we have sailed on DCL so some of this stuff is new to us also. Thanks.

I for one can not wait to hear the old ship's claxon as the bow line is stowed and we head out for the Big Blue Wet Thing.

Right now I do not think we will do any of the planned shore excursions in Nassau. Most likely we will hit the Straw Market, have not seen it since it has been rebuilt after the fire a couple years ago. Sadly I can not drink any carbonated beverages so getting a JunKcanoe Punch at Wendy's is out. More bummed about that than having to give up beer.

On CC we will hit the snorkeling trail as early as possible before it gets mucked up by the masses. Then off to the adult beach. I really need to bring a compass to get a bearing, as there is a nice little shipwreck aways out, (3/4 to 1 mile) with good fish life on it. Hope it will be a low tide so we can see it. Tried to find it once when the tide was high and could not locate. A Conch Cooler and Lunch at the adult beach.

By the time we leave for this trip we will be very happy to just chill on The Wonder.

It would be ok if we got the last boat. If not, we can always just lay on the beach afterwards and let our legs recover before the walk back to ship. I just hope I dont get beat up by my camera.

You can't bring that huge thing on the banana boat. If your butt doesnt get beat up by it, someone else's will. Glenn got a waterproof cover for his digital camera. The thing is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! Besides Glenn, you'll be holding on for dear life anyway. Remember your older now. I may be the gramma but your older than me! No comments from you back either. No matter what, you are older even if it is only five months

Glenn,

Which digital camera and what housing are you using???

I have the Olympus C-740UZ with the PT-018 underwater case. It IS huge, kinda like a Playschool camera. I know I cant bring THAT on the banana boat, that was more for the snorkeling. Oh, yes, I am older than you, Anna, GRANDMA.....LOL:earseek:

I only said that because I knew when I said that you needed to hold on to the banana boat because you were older and that you would fall off that the jokes would be flying about me being a gramma and all. I figured I would jump on the chance first to beat you to the punch! lol :smooth:

I know, I know....nothing wrong with being a grandparent...I will probably have to hold Briana and Justin on and Alyssa will be squeezing my neck....

The C-740UZ is a great camera, we have the C-730UZ. We looked at the Olympus housings at the dive show in Miami last Oct. I liked the looks of them, they are only rated to 130' thus we went with a housing by Light and Motion Tetra for the C-5050. I didn’t think the Olympus housings were that big, compared to what we went with.
