We also did the '07 TA.

I remember it being hot in FL & Castway Cay. Then it got cooler as we crossed. That we didn't spend as much time up at the pool because it was cool & windy. The ocean was also rough... so the pools where close some of the time.

In the ports, if was comfortable but not overly warm. I wore capris & top with a denium jacket. The mornings were cool and the middle of the day was nice.

My plan for packing (for daytime) is 3 jeans, 2 shorts, 3 capris, 1 nice sweat outfit, plus a jacket.

I was looking at the event pages.....on the first post....and noticed that my cabin number had been changed on all of the events I was involved in!

They are now corrected, but I wanted to make sure that didn't happen to anyone else.

CHECK YOUR CABIN NUMBER ON THE SPREADSHEETS FOR EVENTS!

OH MY!!!

I guess I really need this vacation.. YES, my room number was changed but it turned out I got an UPGRADE and didn't know it!!! I started looking at my documents and other papers and the cabin numbers didn't match. Called DCL and now I know why!!! Silly Me!!!

I did ask about any special entertainment for our cruise.
CANNES Film Festival will be on board May 11 to 22
and to check with Guest Services. The CM did not know anything about it.

AND (WHAT????) On May 22, they will be having an "ONION FESTIVAL." And no the CM had no idea what this was going to be!!!

SO, today's travel hint is double check your documents for any happy surprises!!

I did a little research. We will be in Madeira for the Onion Festival.

Festa da Cebola (Onion Festival) - May 20 - 22

Book Fair – Funchal 20 - 29
The book Fair is an annual event held annually for one week in May in Funchal Avenida Arriaga, it involves the participation of the majority of Madeira’s bookshops and some Portuguese publishing houses including live entertainment. Here you may find stands of great selection of Books for all ages including antique photos of Madeira and much more.

Hi Susan... glad you could join us.... if you go to the first page it will give you a link to the FB group... we chat there a lot.... please join us there too.
Everyone in our group will receive a lanyard. We have already ordered and paid for them. They are no charge to you.
We do still have FE # 4 open if you would like to take part in the fish extender group 4, then just go and sign up. Also might be a candy exchange still available

For groups.....Edit Settings...I do that first thing.

I don't get any emails from any of my groups...just a little red number in notifications AFTER I login to FB!!

Go to "edit settings" (top, right of group page) and un-check the box to send you emails!! Then, when you go to FB you can check your notices, and browse without all the inbox issues...lol


But I do agree that sometimes it's tough to exchange info on the FB page since we chat so much...but... I also feel like I get to know people in a different way because it can flow....it's good to have BOTH options.

Hello fellow Cruiseteers! The countdown is on, we're all excited to be jetting south. I love the diversity of this board, just sitting here with my coffee reading the posts re: weather and smiling, 60-70 is balmy for us Canadians; we'll be the ones in the shorts swimming

Seriously, we did the 12 night Med last year, same time and I did mostly capris no shorts until the end for Villefranche and Corsica. Was happy to have brought the LL Bean 100 weight polar fleece for watching Arielvision at night with the kids too!
