May 13, 2007 EARLY Roll Call… 5/13/2007 4-Night Wonder

The drinks sound wonderful right now. I am right there with you. :thumbsup2

The kids will be looking for their special drinks too one Milk shake and one pop.

I do not know about the rest of you but after two days of Rain and more coming this way I am reay for some sun. It has only been 50 here. What happend to the high 70's from this weekend.

Well we have been enjoying some beautiful weather here in SoCal. We will be at the beach tomorrow. 84 degrees expected on Friday here.

Maybe I shouldn't be telling you this. I do that to my sister who lives in NH all the time and she gets so mad at me.

Well I just got my plane and Cruise ship book to read. Ok so I got today and was going to save it for the trip but I started it anyway. I don't think I will have much time anyway because I will have kids with me this time. And normally on the way home I work on a photo Album to show everyone when we get back.

So the book I picked up (which I loved the 1st 3 books) is Forever in Blue. Ever female should read these books. They are the traveling pants books. Love them. Easy read too. But now I am hoping I take it slow so I have something to read on the boat.

You know as I sit here and think about it I cant recall ever seeing a milkshake onboard. Not that they dont have them, but just dont recall. I may keep an eye out for one this cruise because I wouldnt mind drinking one myself!!
:thumbsup2

wow never even thought about reading material. It's been sooo long since I have been able to have the time or energy to devote to reading a real book. When I have a few minutes I am usually going through a scrapbooking magazine.
I am making huge progress in the laundry dept. and have started packing!
Okay so I have question.
My two girls each have a kid size rolling tote and I am debating if I should do real packing in these or if it should be what they take on the plane with activities and carry on stuff like prized blankets and stuffed animals etc????

we usually take a bookbag (or two) on the plane for the kids to carry all their stuff that will hopefully keep them occupied during flight and in the car between airport/port/wdw. We can then use the bag when hitting the parks etc. if we need to carry some stuff.

Were are using the rolling bags for extras on the plane. Plus it will give us more room for all the stuff they bring back.

If you have not picked up a book in a while this is a great book to start with and is really easy read The Sisterhood of the traveling pants. Book 1. It will take you back to your childhood or teen years. A great read. Book 4 just came out It will be with on the ship.

Okay then I am going to take your suggestion and I will get it for the trip/cruise.

Now I saw the movie so do I want to start with Book 1?

The movie was nothing like the book. It left so much out. Read book 1 it is very easy. I can tell you that once you do you will want book 2. If you have a teenage age daughter it is something you can read together. It is great. My sister bought me my 1st one for mothers day and I have bought everyone since. You will not miss on it.

okay then i will be hitting the book store!
thanks for the suggestion.

now did you look into the day room thing?
I am very happy about getting that room. I think it will help the travel day go much better.

michelle

We called they said we could get one that day. We 1st want to see if we can get on a early flight that day. If not we will be getting a room.

deb123453- If you are checking in,just wanted to see how your DD was doing with the chicken pox

Deb Yes I was wondering too how is you DD doing. I hope they are getting and going away for her. I know it is no fun on top of worring about the trip.

thanks for wondering, i think we our going to be lucky and she is not going to get it too bad. onlly a couple spots on her face and legs, they are mostly on her back. so it looks like she will be fine by the time we get to the cruise part of our vacation, still might have a few spots during the land part but thats okay. we leave in 9 days.

Happy to hear the chicken pox seem to be under control. That should make the trip all the easier to enjoy!
:cool1:

Deb I am hsppy to hear that. It will do here good after having the chicken poxs to go to Disney that will make all better. After all it is the most magical palce on earth.
