May 13, 2007 EARLY Roll Call 5/13/2007 4-Night Wonder

Mickey4, DH and I always check in at the airport. The lines move really fast and it doesn't take long at all...probably because so many people check in at home.

Yes, it is finally a beautiful weekend here in Cleveland. Went and got my hair colored and cut today so I am ready to go on vacation NOW!

With Delta, we never check in the night before. However, with SWA I have heard that if not travelling with little ones, you want to do the online check in the night before to get a good boarding spot so you get the pick of the seats. We always flew Delta which assigns seats ahead of time so we never had to worry about it. We went with SWA for the first time this trip because of the cheap airfare. Luckily we have little kids so we can to board first. If not I would be jumping on the computer at midnight (I think) to secure our boarding number.

I think we might wait until we get to airport because we already have our seats assigned unless I have the time to get online but I am not going to worry about it. Besides we are going to be to the airport so early.

Hey it was so warm here we got a sunburn and boy is my Dh red like a lobster. I think I might look for a hat with a thing coming off the back so he does not burn his neck. My little one's ears are so red too. we put aloe on them and on DH's Neck. It got hot today. I got a base Tan!! I love this warm weather . Well I am ready for this trip now. I am thinking packing time is coming soon and we will be off. I can not believe it we are 2 weeks and 3 days away. That looks so better the year or months. But it can not pass soon enough.

We also received the tickets on friday. Only papers no extra's. But ready to go.

Lucky you. I was told I would have mine on Wed. but we will see what happens. I must say I am so looking forward to it. I wa hoping they might come early but I think DCL really sticks to there time frame for things.

Well we will hit 80 today almost Orlando weather.

Ok hard to believe it to be real but it is still 78 here and it is 6:15pm. I must say this is a new thing for this week. I must say I got a sunburn. I have flown out of Florida with my son about 5 times with various airlines....guess what...I didn't get to board early. I think it is because there were so many elderly that needed assistant that they didn't have the time for early boarding small children and babies.

I am back from my weekend. I have another drill in two weeks. Its ok though because it is my spending money.

It is nice here too. We had about 6 kids from the neighborhood playing and it was nice. Nice to not have to be the one playing and nice to sit back and watch my son interact with others. He is getting so much better at sharing etc. Good for the kids clubs!!!!!

I am excited about the Docs!!!! I can't wait to get them.

My son too is getting better with that. I loved my son having a sleepover at someone else's house and loving to ride his big bike. Now we just have to lose the training wheels. I am sure that will come soon.

I too can not wait to get my Doc's I also ordered a new cell phone today and can not wait to get that. My phone will should be put 6 feet under. It needs to be replaced. It will last longer than an hour with out charging and will not fall apart on me. All great things.

I must say I would rather have the doc's then the phone.

My wife got a new cell recently and it is pretty cool because it hooks into the Bluetooth in my car so it is all hands free via the car controls. I have had more fun with it then her!

I imagine we should be seeing some docs then soon too. I have realized this weekend how little time is left and how many small things we still need to do. Espically cant forget to get the dog her annual shots before we board her for the vacation. Dont let me slip up on that one guys!

Yes I Know what you mean. We have a ton of little things here to do and on top of it wish my Zachary good luck it is his 1st tee ball game this coming weekend. Mom hopes all goes well. I want to keep his confindce (spelling) up.

We just took Zoey for her shots. So we are set. We are not boarding her I have my little bro who is 25 watch the house and the dog. I told him if he burns it down don't call me just tell me when I get home. He has watched the house before with no problems. We save a little $$$$ that way.

I am going to take the plunge today and order our park tickets. I think I will get the 6 day hopper and we can use it over two trips. We are going to get the girls FL resident hoppers thru MIL for a good price.

I must say this is a great week. I know my Doc's will be here sometime. I know I get to throw out that junk phone I have. And I know that 2 weeks from Tuesday we will be putting the stuff in the car. I must say life seems pretty good here.

My Dh goes to have his stiches taken out today and get the report back on what they cut out. I am sure that will be fine. Thank goodness it will be all over before our trip.

So I am on the packing mode now. We have started geting some things together. Small stuff we bought for our trip. And looking for stuff we want to take that we can not find. Hugh....aleast I know it is in the house.

some guess thus far have been people complaining their signs were stolen, or fire hazard, or people using tape/glue instead of just magnets.

What......I spent time and money making mine and thinking up a cool saying to put on it. My kids will be so bummed. I wonder if it will stay that way or what. Where did you find the posting?

Well I called DCL and asked about the door signs. You can have them as long as you do not use Tape, Glue or another adhisve to hang them. They are having problems with people damaging the stateroom doors.

You can only use magnets.

I forgot to tell you all to since I was on the phone I asked about my Doc's. and sure enough they are going out Today. They said I can get the tracking number most likely tonight.

This house is doing the happy dance it will all seem real when I have them in hand boy are the days going by now.
