:flower3: Hi to All,

For those of you with a lot of snow or cold weather, :beach: :beach: :flower2: :flower2: :flower2: ( my version of sunshine and flowers).

Happy Easter to all. pooh:

Only 30 more days for us. On May 8th our suite case's gointo the car and everything should be packed for our 2 am drive to airport.

We are all getting close now. my family had the Disney easter bunny come all Disney stuff in the basket.

Maybe the upgrade fairy will strike it rich within the next month and share the wealth with our fine bunch of Mothers Day DCL/DIS Cruisers!
:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

RhondainMA- "practically neighbors" would be an understatement. I just checked and we are in fact neighbors! We have connecting rooms 6572 and 6574 so you can either listen to our young son thru the wall or my two girls, depending on who picks what room ;)

Don't forget.... we are traveling with a 3 year old so it goes both ways....lol

Scottie that thread had great ideas. We are using the zip lock bag packing method. I tried it out the other day. I went and bought all new socks (the ankle kind) put them in a bag and rolled it so all the air would come out and sure enought flat like a pancake. So it looks like that might save room in the suite case.

Well that sounds like a fair trade off then, you with the 3 year old vs a room with either a 19 month old being chased around by his parents or a 6 and 10 year old chatting late into the night with grandma! We wuill chat after vacation to see how each others stay was :rotfl:

I may have to give the ziplock bags a try, as I am once again trying to limit the luggage we bring along (though I NEVER win on that battle).

Sounds great. I'm trying to make this a relaxing vacation where I can spend most of my time taking pictures. So I will have plenty of photos to share with you when we return. I think it's fun to see the same trip from a different perspective.

I am with you there. Besides sometimes people see a photo op. That someone else might miss. We should start a trip report for all of us when we get back. It would be fun to read what happened to each other on the boat. popcorn::

I will have my laptop with me onboard so I will try to keep a journal of each day..... (Scottie will see my verandah lit up late at night while I am typing away... ) If I don't keep a journal I'm afraid I'll forget a lot of the little things that can really make a trip special.

Gosh, I just cant believe how fast time is flying... come on May! Maybe I will shout a few suggestions to you from my verhanda to type in your notes on that laptop :)

I will be keeping notes the old way. Pen and paper. But I do enjoy doing it that way. Then I will post it all when I get back.

Scottie yes time is going by fast. I must say not fast enough. I would love to say Next week is Disney. But my mom says do not wish it to soon because then the sooner it is over. I must say a trip like this is what my family needs. Only 30 days right it should not be to bad. And our documents should be mailed soon which disney mail is always a good thing. I must say this trip as given me something big to look forward too for the last year and my family is sick of my count down. Too bad I need it. :woohoo:

30 short days and we will be in warm weather and my kids get to see the airport for the 1st time. Boy will that be fun.

Hope everyone had a great Easter And got to spend it with family and friends. I must say I am gald it is over because we are that much closer. :thumbsup2

This house is ready now that we are passed the 30 day mark we can start to watch for that Disney mail and maybe even the upgrade man will stop by. I will not count on it. It would just be a nice surprise.

Maybe to now that Easter is over Spring will come in with warm weather. Let keep our fingers crossed. :cool2: :flower3:

We did this when we went to WDW last Jan. It was great. It was so easy to get my son dressed. I had one days worth of clothes in one zip lock. I also kept a zip lock of "extra" clothes that matched what was already packed. My son is three, so we change out clothes often. I know this sounds anal but I had three colors of clothes for him, blue, red and grey. So it was really easy to mix and match if we got food on our shirt. I even labeled the bags for what day the clothes were for.

what time is everyone planning to get to port? I am taking a taxi from our hotel. I think we will arrive around 10-1030am. I don't have to get #2 or #3 boarding pass but I would like to get on asap. My son isn't a big eater, so I think we will eat for about 2 minutes and then off to the pool. My mom is visiting at my home. We have gone over the menu's and are planning what kind of drinks we intend to have. :goodvibes :cool1:

For those of you with 3 year olds, how do you plan to get them to nap!!!!! I already started the brain washing with my son. In order for him to see the shows or pirate night, he needs to nap. And when he doesn't get enough sleep......oh my...he will embarrass me. He throws a full fledge fit. :rotfl2:

My son is 3 years old too. So I was thinking the samething. He will mess on more than one shirt a day with Icecream or something. That is what we were thinking.

I know how messy my youngest is so I am sure we will be packing a good bit of extra for him. We bought a decent number of lightweight carters one-piece outfits for the trip (going on the assumption the weather will be wonderful).

Ok I worry about little things. :scared:  Like not getting my documents because they messed up again (mailman, UPS, Fedex). See we have two streets with the same name and same house numbers in the same Subdivson. The only way to tell is to really look and see one is lane and one is Cir. Ok so they never look. So I called DCL today and they said our Documents should go out on April 25th (land\sea package) and they are shipping them 3 day ups. When I told her my worry she said not a problem and marked they had to be signed for that way they could not refuse them which is what the other street does to us. And that I can call on that day and get a tracking number. One less worry I guess you could say. They were wonderful about my issue and said not to worry that if I see they were sent back they would get them to me in time. :thumbsup2 So I guess you can say no worries here anymore. And the rest of you have an idea on when to watch for your documents. They said they go out 14 days before you should arrive. That just sounds wonderful only 14 days.:woohoo: :woohoo:

To help calm your worries... someone stated on a posting that they have all the required docs ready at port in case something goes wrong and you dont recieve them or loose them etc. However, I do know how fun it is to get them in the mail!!
