Hanover- Where did you find the travel size Downy wrinkle release sprays? I want to bring it, but not the full size bottle.

DD and I were doing a little dance today because our paper chain is so tiny now!! Yippee!!! :cool1:

Our Super Walmart had them. They are $1.50 for 4 fl. oz. I found them in the travel size section. I can't seem to find a small size Tide or Woolite. I don't plan on laundry, but wanted to bring some just in case or to do the swim suits in the sink. I'm hoping Target will have some.

We are down to 13 links in our paper chain. I took pictures when they were making them and after they were done...they had them wrapped around the back of their necks and over their shoulders and they were dragging on the floor. I always take a picture of them the day before we leave for WDW next to our extra large classroom style calendar in their playroom with one finger up (as in "one more day"). Makes for a cute first page of each trip's scrapbook.

Hanover, there is a transfer coupon in the book of docs that you are to present to a Magical Express representative. Also, on the 3rd page of the docs it lists if you have transportation. I would want the coupon in my possession. The transfer coupon is located on the second page after the gratuity guidelines.

Hanover I thought I saw the little tide's at Target or Walmart. It was in the travel section. You could always get a little plastic bottle and put some detergent in that.

Tried talking DH into the couples spa villa but he just couldn't justify spending that much money on a massage. He did say he would pay to upgrade at the port though. Since we're in a Cat. 11 anything higher would be nice, but I'm not counting on it.

The girls get so excited cutting their chains off, good idea with the pictures, I wish I would have thought of that. My mom saw them for the first time yesterday and counted how many we had left. She didn't know the cruise was that close! Now she's really excited too.

Anybody have ideas what my family should do during the time between when we get off the ship and before we can re-check in to the radisson? Is there a nice beach somewhere? Don't want to make the trip to WDW, and the girls would fine the space center boring. DD's are 8,6,4. Anyone?

Hanover,

I was able to find the small bottles of Tide at Target in their travel size section. Thanks for the super Wal-mart tip for finding the downy spray!!

Hi Everyone,

I noticed on my documents it listed an "Embarkation" time of 1pm. We are planning on going on board early How strick is DCL with this?

That is the offical time boarding begins, typically boarding begins around noon. Terminal opens at 10:00 am....

T-Sirgey/Littlebunny: Thanks for the response to the travel Tide inquiry. I'll have to check out Target. I checked our Walmart in the travel section and the laundry section several times but they don't have anything.

Ragdoll- Thanks for the heads up about the transfer coupon. He just recently (last Friday) booked the transfer, so they weren't included in his docs. We wanted to make sure he didn't miss the boat and thought going through Disney was the best option.

Well, that explains it Hanover. We always enjoy the bus ride to the port. As we have gotten older we would rather just relax and leave the driving to someone else. DCL will make sure you get to the ship if you booked their transfer. That eases our mind a bit because we always fly in the morning of the cruise. Of course unforseen occurances can happen (esp. in hurricane seanson) but those occasions seem not to occur too often. Or else we have just been lucky. :confused3 I know that most people prefer to fly in the day before.

We got our docs today!! :teeth: DD wanted to put the luggage tags on our unpacked bags as soon as I opened the envelope!! No upgrade tho :sad2:

DB finally brought luggage back. He forgot it when he came over last weekend. I have to look through our stuff and start packing this weekend.

Who else is for GRills beside V-Man, Arndtge, Littlebunny ?

If you have a CVS near you, they have 1 load packets of CVS brand laundry detergent and fabric softner in the travel size section for 2/$1.00.

The official two week mark and we will be flying to Florida!!! Yippee!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1:   :cheer2:

:woohoo: Only 15 days until we sailaway!!!!! :woohoo:

We are going to try to be at Grills. It will have been a long day at that point & we will see how the kids are hanging in at that point ;) If they arent all tired/cranky we should be there....

Anyone here in the Walt/Roy suite? Last cruise we had a fellow Diser in the Walt suite :thumbsup2 V-Man, maybe DCL is saving those rooms for you :goodvibes

LOL!!! One can only dream, no we are still in 6562. :goodvibes

Verandah Man- We are in 6586- Cat 6 too.

The suites! I wish!

I am perfectly happy for a Verandah. I'm an early riser, so I like to sit outside in the morning and drink my coffee.

We didn't get an upgrade either, and a friend of my brother's works for DCL too! Oh, well, maybe it IS what you know :thumbsup2

DrCavin I'll put you in the reservation anyway for Grills. How many are you ? How old are your children? I'll probably have to tell DD we might see the Magic from the restaurant :thumbsup2 even tho it won't even be in port. :lmao:

I can't believe we're only two weeks away! It was so fun to count only 14 chains on the chains my girls made!

People keep asking us what time we're leaving and I have no idea! I'd better start getting ready for this vacation, like checking our flight time!

We have 4 in our group, DD is 8 will be 9 in July, DS is 6....

Carnival *may* have a ship in port, dont remember if we saw one on Friday night last time or not. I still remember coming over the bridge into Cocoa Beach & seeing the Magic sitting there.. WOW..... Then driving up beside her, oh lets hope these next 2 weeks flys by.....

Well the clothes are all out but not packed I can't believe I haven't put them in yet. We are having a party at our house tonight with about 60 people and I know I won't do it before then - I am falling apart, I am getting a little anxious about how little time I have to get it all done.

I was able to find bathing suits last night - so I only have a couple of remaining things to pick up.

We will be in Epcot or DTD Friday and not at Grills but hopefully will meet some of you on the ship.

Still working on my door signs and trying to get some shirts made up for the kids.

Off to Staples to pick up some supplies.

Have a great day everyone.

Carolyn
